I like how clear and to the point you are 👍🏼👍🏼
Love the look of this soup. Husband loves lentils, so will definitely make it.
Thank you for your videos! I love that i can watch them w/out sound and still know exactly what i need to do.
I wish you would make more.
Thanks Rodolfo - I plan to start making some more this week!
Thank you for this recipe
Your way of demonstration is appreciable...I can easily understand,I will definitely try🙋
Great and simple to understand video! Thanks, much appreciated. Soup looks delicious. I've just got mine, this week, so looking forward to more of your recipes including other things that can be done in them ...
Glad it was helpful!
Perfect recepie
Looks great, my hot and cold blender just arrived today so looking forward to trying it out, and seeing more of your creations 😋
You're going to love it Janet! Let me know if you have any questions :)

Finally got round to making this soup and it is delicious, it was so easy 😋
I'm so glad you enjoyed it :) It's one of my favourites!
really enjoyed this video Liana, you really should do some more.
Thank you! Will do!
Very helpful video showing how does the Ninja soup maker work. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
I will try to make that
Great video 😊👌
Lovely video Liana.. Will be trying this recipe soon and will let you know how it goes.
Love how you keep instructions clear and straight forward.
This recipe will be great for me and my partner as it-s quick and healthy which suits our lifestyle.
Just had a look at this recipe because I am planning on making carrot and lentil soup but I normally use the sauté function I take it you don’t need it for this recipe 😄
Hi Sarah - you can use the saute function - sometimes I do and sometimes I just chuck it all in and switch it on!
That looks lovely. How much stock and lentils did you use please?
Looks brilliant, going to try it over the next few days. How much red lentil did you add?
What software do you use to make videos and can you edit? Also what type of camera? Where did you have yours mounted?
What proportions of lentils to liquid are used? Is it the same proportions for all dried legumes?
Soup looks lovely, do you think split chick peas (channa daal) would work in a soup maker?
could you use tinned tomatoes?
Thank you for doing this recipe.
I’m thinking about making Wild Garlic Soup , can you do a video of this ?
Sounds great, I love garlic. I'll certainly give it a go!
I loved your carrot and parsnip soup, but my all time favourite is butternut squash Mmmm delicious
I love you video. I'm blind so having you speak what to do is brilliant.
Next can we have pea and ham soup please? 😉😉😉
I made Liana’s Pea and ham soup. It was delicious
I'm so happy it was useful for you Suzy :) Yes, I will add pea and ham to my list of videos to make!
Hey, thanks for making this video! The booklet calls for oil but I notice you omitted it. Does it make a difference in the taste? Looking forward to your response. (Newbie to cooking here!)
Hi! Thanks for your comment - yes, sometimes I add it, sometimes I don't. Frying any onions/garlic in a little oil first does enhance the flavour, but it's a personal choice and not always essential - it depends on the soup really! Let me know how you get on and if you have any questions :)
Looks great! Thanks for sharing! Please do we need to add boiled water or can we add cold water?
Thanks! I always tend to add boiled water but I know plenty of people use cold too :)
Ingredients
Red lentils
White onion
4 tomatoes
Garlic
Veg stock
Hello, I just ordered my ninja hot & cold soup maker, it will be delivered tomorrow. I watched quite a few videos and I was quite pleased to find someone from the UK cooking as it is different than the American recipes. I would like to ask you a question: you said one should not go over the maximum line. Is that just for the liquid or for everything that goes into the jug? I have seen many people selling the jack up to the brim with vegetables or fruit. I really do not want to kill my machine immediately after arriving. Thank you very much for replying, greetings from Scotland, Heike
Surely the point of sticking to the guidance is to avoid excess pressure in the blender forcing liquid past the jug lid seals. I stick to the guidance and have no mess at all. The max line is for everything I believe and that works for me.
Hello :) Do you still use this blender? Looks so delicious that i want to buy it
I do still use it yes. It’s a Ninja blender and soup maker.
How can I sign up to your weekly newsletter please? Thank you.
Sorry for the late reply Pauline - did you ever get signed up?
@@LianasKitchen not as yet. Please may I be added to the list? Thank you.
How many servings do you think this will make?
Sorry I missed this Rachel - I find the Ninja makes 3 large or 4 medium servings of soup.
Could you use tinned tomatoes instead of fresh?
Yes you use tinned tomatoes :)
How much soup is the max in liters?
It's 1.2L max for soup in the Ninja.
I need recipe for potatoes soup
I will try and make one for you soon, in the meantime I have a potato and garlic soup here (you can reduce/leave out the garlic if you prefer) lianaskitchen.co.uk/potato-and-garlic-soup-in-a-soup-maker/
What model is this?
It’s the Ninja Hot and Cold Blender
How much lentils do you add?
"100g red lentils, rinsed" it's in the description
Oh yeah, just watched the video, didn't look at the details 🤣
Thanks
No butter??
You can add butter if you like :)
@@LianasKitchen thank you 👍
