You have no idea how much this affects me. My brother played slide trombone for a couple years and this was his favorite song to play. He died in 2016 at the age of 38 from pneumonia

I aspire to be even half as good of a trombone player as you. May I ask, what type of trombone do you use? I am looking into getting a new one as my teacher says that I should get a new one.
I believe he is using a F-attachment trombone/ trigger trombone you can find some good used bones in good condition in eBay or Reverb for half the price like a Yamaha YSL-456G I just purchased for 650$ good luck and happy searching!

How to read notes on trombone?
when I first play trombone, it was hard to read it but I got used to it. You can watch a video of how to read notes on trombone
is like a note lower then the treble clef i think google it tho
Mnemonic devices. For the lines, Good Boys Do Fine Always. The spaces, All Cows Eat Grass. Worry about ledger lines when you got that much down.
