I like making origami, but when i show it to someone they say “oh, that’d be easy” by the time i make 10 paper claws, three parrots and some other random stuff, they’ve only made a single paper claw thats folded really awkwardly. Idk, just thought I’d share that.

Made a golden retriever and gave it to them in a heart box and got mad at me for giving them an easily folded piece of paper so I took it back and gave them the paper they would need to make it and left.

Instead of scissors try folding the paper and creasing the edges well, then lick the edge (or use a small amount of water) and then tear it. It works great!
