I realize that the US overthrow of Saddam Hussein the rise of the Shia majority and their unwillingness to work with the Sunni minority led to ISIS being strong. It was a country formed by the British and French drawing lines on a map and failed to take into account the religious and ethnic differences of those that were made part of this newly minted country post WWI.
