SB5 Protesters chant for 15 minutes, deafening State Capitol

Last ten minutes before special session deadline. Listen to the sound escalate.
This is what Texas lawmakers heard outside the Texas Senate chamber as the Republican majority tried to ram through Senate Bill 5, some of the most restrictive abortion legislation in the country.
Turns out the chamber was so loud from the chants outside that the Senators didn't start voting until after midnight, thus voiding the vote and ending the special session. Texas women won this night 6/25-6/26
