    Ty ty I’m a 68 year old Nana and I just bought my first sewing machine. My first coaster! I did it! Not perfectly straight but I competed it. You teach so well. Even a dummy like me can learn. Ty , Ty, Ty❣️

    now i need to go get some felt LOL! this is awesome. Im new to sewing, i made my dog a over the collar bandana and now i wanted to do something with the extra fabric. these are SO easy and i feel like anyone new to sewing could definitely have a lot of fun with these.

    Great video! I would suggest pressing the entire coaster before the top stitch.

    I've made many coasters - would suggest that you wash and dry all fabric before using so that when you throw them in the washer they won't shrink at all. Also, the corners will be neater if you leave the gap in the seam in the middle of one of the sides. Easier to fold in neatly as well. Would also suggest topstitching 1/8" from the edges, then go back if you want and do another row 1/4" from that. Nice video!

    If you’ll leave your turning hole in the middle of the side instead of at the corner it will be easier. 😊

    So cute!
    Why couldn’t you sew it design sides out and put the felt in between them and sew it that way?
    I haven’t sewn a lot and just am curious!

      Hey there! I sew with a Brother XM2701 and love it! I would totally recommend starting with a base level Brother machine.
