Filipp - the famous sound sculptor from Bucharest. Coming from a family with no musical background, the romanian sculptor traveled barefoot to Berlin, and from there to Detroit to learn from the biggest artists of his era. He even worked in Jeff Mills' studio for two months but left saying "Nothing can grow under big trees" and pursued in shaping his unique style.
Alexandr K. Filipp seeks inspiration in primitive exoticism, retrofuturism, romanian club culture, literature and mostly anything. His music emphasizes crisp geometrical beats that balance with smooth melodic lines and symbolic allusions of his everyday life.
