During this tournament I played red IG-88. I think this is definitely the way to go with IG. The all space strategy is insane for forcing opponents to waste resources trying to deal with you in space.
Nice deck. After the showdown I am back on my crazy Jyn brewing which has some DNA shared with this concept.
That sounds spicy. I am firmly believe that there is still more to explore before set 2
Could you please add the decklist? Thank you
Oops! Forgot to add that. Added to the description. Only have the mainboard
It’s a fun deck, but you would have to get awfully lucky to win more than a game or two in a tournament with this.
Managed to get 3!
@@RTchompGG There's a lot of really common stuff in the meta that this deck simply doesn't have an answer to and that will reliably wipe out the "big turn" it relies on. Takedown, for one. No good to me dead. Open fire (although less common), anything running ECL, overwhelming barrage... I ran this in a local store showdown, just to see if I could find a place for IG-88 and went 1-4. I won a lot of game 1s in the best of 3, but once the opponent figures out the gimmick it's pretty easy to address. I can imagine getting lucky and they just don't get the hand they need maybe once or twice, but I just don't see this deck going very far. I'm not so egotistical that I think I couldn't play it better, but it's mostly about your opponent prioritizing blocking your "big turn," and it's really not that hard to do.
