Are the steel ladders still there ?
They were set into the cliffs and still safe. There used to be one near the Billet hole on the North side.
The ridges round to the North side used to be fished at low tide by as many as 40 anglers all float fishing for Mackerel. The drift took the floats South wards so you started from the North ad moved in line with your float if you hooked a fish you retrieved it and pulled out of the line and moved back to the Northern end and waited your turn to cast in and start again.
Great cohesive float fishing, free from snagging the kelp and the shelves. A great experience for me as a 12 year old. 👍🏼🎣

Can dig your own fella, lots of beaches around brid that hold lug, south beach brid for example, get your fork and bucket and go down an hour before low water, need to check out ulrome site next, you can fish from your van and again with worm, you should catch from there

I fished the ladders lots of kelp and snaggy no fish either you need to be at the end of brig and a long cast apparently yellow tail and crab 👍

The ladders are where the people are you saw from the top off cliff if you keep walking where you were you will see a massive concrete block down there and the ladders are there I’ve sent you a few videos off them on instagram I have took hope they help you find it good video keep them up mate
