There were wrecks Dale got blamed for where he never touched the car that spun! Don’t even attempt to pull Bristol night race 99 where Terry hit Dale first to pass in turns 3 & 4 & Dale just repaid the favor in turn 1! Talk about crying! There is no Dale Earnhardt fans out there that pull for Denny!
At 2:05, Larson said that Ross "got in a hurry".....well, it's a F'ing RACE! Aren't you supposed to be in a hurry? At 2:23 he also says "we have the fastest car every weenend".....well obviously NOT if Chastain is running into you. If you're faster, GO FASTER! And then at 2:37 Larson says Chastain's errors "never affect him negatively".....sounds to me like he knows how to drive his $hit! Stop sandbagging Larson!

Nascar needs to put all cars involved in the cautions to the back, it works great in short track racing. They think twice bout getting into another car. And as for the flame coming out of the pipe, so what, hes a lapped car for that reason. If not for rookies like Poole, there would be no nascar racing. There would only be 18-20 cars racing. Chastain said it best, he will call them the next day after he takes the Skip Barber driving school. Chastain is good talent, he didnt do it on purpose, he knows he coulda taken out his radiator and ended his day. And as for the comments of Earnhardt was ok doing it, I was never a fan of his for that reason. And just remember Chastain fans, what goes around comes around, so no whining !!! JMO

Only two differences between Ross & Dale Sr. is, people moved out of the way when the #3 showed up in your mirror going faster than they were going, and the #1 apologizes after the race. Grow up Larry, and whinny fans, put your big boy and girl pants on when you're talking about auto racing. Blocking is more of the norm now, and everyone needs to think twice before blocking the #1. Dale never wrecked no damn lapped car on lap 80 and said sorry and Larry Mac knows it, Dale knew what he was doing with his car 100% of the time and if he got into you it was on purpose for a reason… not just reckless driving, thats the damn difference. One of the best crew chiefs in nascar, you think he would know a thing or two right?

Seems to me if you know he's going to bump you when he catches you (he only catches you because you are slower), you'd learn to just get out of the way. He can't hit you if you are not in the way. If you are in the way, you are just slowing down progress.
But slower cars usually stay at the bottom of the truck while faster cars go to the top. Besides, why did Chastain drive in so deep before letting off? Chastain should be held accountable for his wreckless actions.
@@dereknewton4786 actually, slower cars are “supposed” to give up the groove when being passed. But no one wants to do that anymore. He was slow and in the way, should have entered the corner 1 lane especially knowing it was the 1 behind him.
@@SteveTheExploiter ......and how many times have you actually saw a slower car go up towards the wall going into a turn? Every race I ever saw, the slower car never gave the groove up because the faster car just goes around them on the outside. Chastain is just a wreckless driver and every announcer or driver never said anything about the slower car giving up the bottom after this wreck, Chastain could have went around him but he decided to wreck him and unfortunately Larson got wrecked.
@@dereknewton4786 I raced go karts for 10 years, and a local asphalt track for a year. In the driver's meeting we were explained to move out of the groove if you are being lapped, or a faster car/kart was trying to pass you. One track I raced at had the 2 bump rule. If you haven't given up the groove by the 2nd bump, the 3rd bump WILL move you. It's driver etiquette that has gone out the window on the race track these days. Even formula 1 is having a bad time with people just running into each other. People are rude, entitled, and not too bright anymore. When I raced, there were a couple guys you knew not to get in their way because they just didn't care. You either shoved them out of the way, or they wrecked you when you tried to pass. And that was 20 years ago. Go watch some races at bristol or dover from back in the 80's. You'll see the slower cars giving up the groove when the aggressive drivers approached. They saw and they learned.

First is experience level, second is no cage vs full roll cage, third would be speed.....there's a huge difference so how can you compare them? Lol....only time in nascar a slower car moves out of the groove is on a straight usually...you're talking about etiquette, Chastain has never showed any type of etiquette on the track for other drivers. 2 weeks and caused 2 wrecks in a row I believe I heard because I didn't see the one before dover.

Any driver bump and runs another driver its racing. Chastain does it and he's the worst driver in track. It's getting old it really is. All the Chastain hates can eat shit. Larson took his own teammate out last year.... oh he just locked the brakes.

Awe hell . How many drivers did Earnhardt spin out . Yes its unfortunate and hes should be maybe a little more cautious. But he'll never win a race
I understand drivers who are aggressive, but in my opinion, Chastain crashes people for no reason. As a result, drivers get caught up in collateral damage. I for one am sick and tired of Chastain saying, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do that." Drivers need to start wrecking the #1 car just for the heck of it until he learns.
I think Nascar needs to buy all of Rick's drivers a crying towel, and get him one.I think Dennys has some.
Larry Mac should stick to ex crew chief duties. CHASTAIN IS WHAT WE NEED NOW.

Agreed! I used to desert & stadium race. Ya can't follow somebody forever when you're clearly faster. I've had to use the front bumper several times to get past a slower car. There's only a limited amount of time or miles in a race & blocking will get you the reward you may not be prepared for.
Chastain should be promoted to tire carrier.
