Awesome bhai awesome...... I have seen so many videos so far but no one has shown the Immigration check , Customs Area and Connecting Domestic Transfers (from Arrival Hall & i heard you said 1 min to ur friend and moved the camera towards the domestic transfer area

Thank you so much for uploading this! I was afraid I could not find the prepaid taxi counter but now I can! It’s so cool that people like yourself take the time to help others. I had considered taking the airport express but need to transfer to different lines and was afraid my backpack and luggage will count as 2 items. Maybe I need to shove my backpack into my suitcase?
It's my pleasure.Still you can use metro,no problem taking 2 bags if you are able to handle it,only thing you have to consider is peak time of other lines,in evening 5 to 7 can be too crowded.

I am coming this month from Canada and arriving in NewDelhi. I have a domestic flight 5 hrs later with Vistara to Guwahati. Is the domestic flight departures in the same Terminal 3?
I assume I go through customs first, get bag then go to domestic departures area. I need to get a SIM card also.

Vistara operates from same terminal 3.If both of your flight booked on same PNR then after clearing custom and arriving at meet and greet hall take right and walk few steps and you can see domestic transfer on your right.
If booked on different PNR then at meet and greet hall turn right and walk to extreme end and then take elevator/escalator to departure level.
Airtel Sim store is left side of meet and greet hall after custom (11:56 in video).
Thanks for the informative video , we arrive early in the morning from an international flight and we are on a stopover to Nepal , 5 hours later . We have the multiple entry visa in hand , we are undecided as to whether we should check in our luggage from origin to final destination , instead of checking them to Delhi and then re checking them again at departure desk . We want to avoid the risk of lost luggage .What do you think?
Its your call . I wont take hassle of getting baggage and rechecking when I have option to book baggage directly to KTM (most probably you are flying AirIndia/Vistara/Star Alliance).
Chances of baggage lost is once in ten thousand or even less and till now I didn’t experience yet whereas I fly intensively between Middle East,India and ASEAN countries.

Hi Mat and thank you for this excellent and helpful video. We are arriving from Doha at 08: 25 next Wednesday and have a flight out to Goa Dabolim at 17:25. Once we have our bags what are our options for staying in the airport for ~ 8 hours? Do we head first to Domestic Transfer? Is there anywhere to rest/relax without exiting the building?
If both your flight is booked on same PNR then you would be having boarding pass for second flight too,in that case after clearing custom you can turn right at meet ans greet hall and use baggage transfer desk and then elevator to departure level and then to security and gates. After security you can use lounge or there are recliner chairs near departure gates.
If on separate PNR then you can use Encalm lounge or Sleep and Shower lounge,both are situated on domestic arrivals side,after custom take right turn and walk towards the ebd,first you will find Encalm lounge on left side then sleeping lounge at right side.

If having sufficient gap then after coming out of terminal 3 take shuttle bus ,available near Pillar no 11-12,have to get free token from kiosk near pillar 11 showing arrival boarding pass,departure ticket and id proof otherwise have to pay at bus.Bus frequency is 20 min,run 24x7,travel time around 20-25 min.
If having tight schedule then get taxi,its 10 min ride.
I am coming to Terminal 3 from Saudi Arabia and i have a flight to Kolkata. The connecting flight is after 2 hours after arrival in Delhi airport. Is 2 hours good time to clear the immigration and customs and board the domestic flight....

Tight but doable as booked on same PNR with AirIndia.
You need to be fast for hassle free boarding,depending upon realtime situations it may take around 45 to 60 min to clear immigration,get baggage,clear custom and exit to meet and greet hall.
When you arrives meet and greet hall don't exit the terminal,take right tern and around 50 step later you can see domestic transfer on right hand side,enter domestic transfer and droo your baggage at AirIndia baggage transfer desk and proceed to departure using elevator.
Do get in touch with AirIndia staff if needed after disembarking,if needed AirIndia staff will assist you to get domestic security faster ,I have many good experience of AirIndia when transiting via Delhi and Mumbai,they are good for transfer,would try their best to get connecting flight.
Hi, do we have to transfer our laggage from international flight to connecting flights?
Yes after immigration you need to collect baggage clear custom and recheck in as per next flight,if terminal change then need to transfer terminal with baggage.

Just exit from terminal 3 and take left,after passing the food court you will see the path going towards T2,it's well signed and hardly 5 min walk.

Ager dono separate booking hai to pura process karna hoga,pahle immigration,fir baggage collect kar ke custom,uske baad arrival hall mai left turn karna aur last mai escalator lena departure level ke liye.
Fir check in ,immigration,security aur uske baad flight boarding.

How much time did it take for you at the immigration ?
Depending how busy it is at night-time where many international arriving almost at the same time. immigrations will take any from one to two hours minimum ( very chotics) earley afternoons international arriving will take approximately 45 mins to clear.
So i can buy alcohol at duty-free, shop upon arrival before going to my hotel?
Yes just as any International arrivals,Delhi Duty free has good collection of liquor to offer.

Depends upon multiple factors including when arriving and number of aircraft arriving that time but in general expect average an hour to exit with baggage.

Bhai koi fix nahi hai,multiple factors per depends karta jaise kis time aarahe,kitne flight us time land kar rahe aur luck bhi,mid night se early morning busy time rahta,dopahar ke time kam busy,normally 1 ghanta rakho immigration aur custom ke baad bahar aane ke liye,ager luck kharab to 2 ghante se jyada bhi.
