the only use i find to this is making loops, and making a 3 way copper wire, but for those you can just use different things like not gates and more copper

Yes indeed, but you can for example connect it with the beginning vreating an infinite loop that you can use however. It basically actives the other line and deactivating the others. So yeah an infinite loop but it isnt always active.
It generates electricity from steam, heat up your water, make sure your turbine is above or to the side in an enclosed space, and it should let off steam which will power the turbine, don't get them confused with wind turbines, there are many types of turbines but this game uses steam turbines.

Well, you could make a burst that goes infinitely, and combine lamps with it making a cool snake-like lamp without using not gates.
