This level is the only thing I dreaded about the remake: having to go through this crap all over again.
What makes it so difficult? I havent reached it yet?
its a pity the developers did not take the opportunity to fix the aweful camera angles that make this level terrible beyond belief
@@juniorsandoval9624 Indeed. I feel remakes are only justified when you improve on the flaws of the original, as well as add something new.
Graphics alone isn't enough.
@@blakemarsee4801 In my opinion, as someone who played the original PS1 version, this is my least favorite level in the game. The skeleton pirates on this level don't fuck around like the zombies you fight at the graveyard. They move fast, do a lot of damage, and are a lot harder to kill. God help you if they start ganging up on you. And I always hated all the platform jumping you had to do on this level.
It was a remaster not a remake.
This was the level I’ve always found with the most difficulty.
Killed the Captain 3 times already but keep falling into the canon room and dieing trying to escape the canon balls. I stopped playing for almost 6months but decided to try again. Its proved to be very challenging, finding it hard to have fun anymore
I hate this level! Falling into the bowels of the ship is just a waste of time and health. You get a few more kills and that's it, but the souls that fill the chalice are the guys controlled by the officers. The main thing is to kill the skeletons in the blue jackets to minimize losing your health - if you kill the officer first, they all drop dead. Using the dragon armor to kill the captain kills him quickly - just point the cannon at him and breathe fire on it to light it. After you kill him, the chalice is only 83% full if you haven't killed the extra 12% before getting to the end, so you have to go back and find more men controlled by officers.
You go to the top level to find the last few skeletons which gives you 100%

How in the actual heck did you get points from killing those first two enemies?! i tried many times with different weapons each time but I got nothing, im always stuck at 83% in the end.

Omg I found that there’s a skeleton opposite to the chalice if you take the elevator thingy. Now 100%!

i got 100 from the first try but later when i wanted chalice i got stuck to 83

Yes this level is where I ALWAYS use up the most Life Bottles!
The dragon armor works really well for this boss battle too

Dìdnt know you cluld walk over the cannons insteas of trying to use the swinging platforms! Keep falling down and having to go through the bottom of the ahip with the cannon ball corridors eating away at my health!
Use the shields there - they don't last long though so make sure they are topped up before you do this level, same with health.
How to do that jumping part I cannot do that 😭

@@olivercastle.4745 I'll try that. I just jumped to the last one and managed to barely jump high enough. But I never could get that high.
Well that’s the way to jump high, hold X.
The secret to it is running into the jump going from the first net that’s in the middle to the last net in the middle. If you run Into it going from net to net it will allow you to jump high enough to reach the bridge.
why i cant get this chalice?... i can only get 83%... what the hell is going on?
You probably figured it out by now but just in case... there is another captain up. Just right of where the chalice is. 100% after that jobber.

@@1boshow literally when you go up the bird cage to get to the chalice, theres another bridge to the right. I never noticed it before

Use your axe or bow and arrows if you can get him targeted.

Life bottles are found scattered in different levels, some are given to you by heroes. I had the same amount when I got to this level.

yea this guy started off with 23% i knew something seemed weird lol
He didn't start off with 23% lol the first two skeletons on deck can be killed to get 11% and the captain above deck can be killed for additional 18% it's not weird at all.
