this is actually a very cool concept for a video it's nice to see you make any thing in the everyday life of the world aside from every body You are not like anyone and this is what makes you a special and exceptional person. I wish you a happy life and to everyone who reads my comment ❤️🥰💖😍😘
Katelyn......this is why I love you as a Crafter!!!!! Totally my favorite crafter and there are amazing crafters out there. Thanks for sharing with us!!!! Love love love the new ideas!!!!
@@1lmp1 sad thing is that my family actually owns a painting company, lol. I always equated brooms with the classic broom shape, so I never considered using them even though there are some that are the same shapes as the brushes we regularly use. I still won't use a dollar tree broom for one of our client jobs, because I would worry about it losing fibers, but I will definitely get a few for crafting purposes.
I love the affect you got from using the broom attachment as a paint brush, and the overall results of that piece was gorgeous! Also I loved what you did gluing the tiny floral to the jar/candle holder, it looks amazing! I love when you DIY more boho decor!! TFS!!
I've used the metal napkin holders, zip tied them together to hold smaller paint bottles and plastic butter dish with using salt and pepper shakers. Glued the top of butter dish turned upside down to the lid and the bottom of shakers as little flower pots, fits 3 shakers bottoms.
The flowers painted on the jar turned out better than I expected. You could use the rubber part of plunger upside down on a narrow vase to make a ele aged planter or tray
I love the hanging plant using a paper towel holder and those vases with the flower texture turned out great! I'll definitely be using that idea on some blah glassware at my house. 💙
This is such a smart video theme👌🏾I thought of Fall/Winter for the cloche too, so glad I grabbed a few! I just bought the Jack Daniel looking vinegar bottles for Fall decor! Tyfs❤🙏🏾
I SWEAR, EVERYTHING U TOUCH GIRL JUST TURNS OUT TO A BEAUTIFUL DIY CRAFT!!! YOUR MIND, YOUR THINKING IS JUST 1 OF A KIND!!! U R DEFINITELY MY GO TO PERSON ON U-TUBE! I THINK U NEED YOUR OWN STORE OR TV SERIES....SOMETHING!!
Hello. I made a snowman ornament by painting a Christmas ball ornament and I used a *Dollar Tree sock* for the hat! I just cut off the part of the sock where your toes would be and I tied the end with floss and a bell. The hat slips right over the ball! Just poke a hole through the sock for the hanging hardware to fit through. I added blush for the cheeks and used a Sharpie marker to draw the face. ⛄ GOD BLESS YOU ALL! Peace, Lynne 🍃💜🍃
Great video Katelyn!! I love the way you craft......Quick, Easy & High End! I loved them all. I will be doing a few of them! I loved the look you got using the brush to paint. I will definitely be buying a brush tomorrow! With any luck, my store will have the peg system. Recently I made a 12" rotating organizer with Dollar Tree summer hats from years back & 12" metal "wheel" that wire came on. I took the hats apart & wrapped the entire wheel & making my sections. It took 2 1/2 hats. I made a lazy susan base for it. I did spray paint it due to the hats are mostly paper. It turned out better than I could have imagined. I have it full & it sure didn't cost much, less than $5. Thanks for sharing all your great ideas! See you next time. God bless.
My craziest craft items were a paper towel holder, pie pan, microfiber cloths and paint rollers. Together they made a beautiful necklace rack. I can't remember who I saw make this because it's not an original ideal. The rack turned out to be so cute.
Hi Katelyn. I love your crafting ideas! I loved your use of the hair accessories in the picture hangers. Now I have been known to use the wood in mouse traps for crafts before. I removed all the metal hardware, stained the wood pieces, then stenciled the word FALL or SNOW or BEACH on season appropriate printed paper.
These are just genius!!! The broom brush to destress is awesome... I guess I've used a bunch of weird things to craft with also...lol!!! But that's normal.. RIGHT?!!! LOL!!! 👍😁👍😁👍🤗🤗🤗
These are some very clever, creative ideas! The cloche terrarium was my favorite but do you have any ideas for getting rid of the black Batman-looking shape on the top?
Liked them all I do alone of art u can also make home furniture look up cinder block diy wood pallets, milk crates, even plastic pipes from plumbing sections
Hi Katelyn great I take the plunger and be painted it black and then I got 5 of skull head I cut holes in the top and bottom I put fairy lights and put the lights in side and then I push the skull on the plunger use the glue to hold the skull together and then put in your window my kids love them
I bought red oven mitts and trimmed the top with the white duster covers so that they looked like mittens with fur cuffs. Then we added either a cookie or brownie mix (from Dollar Tree) and shared them with our neighbors for Christmas.
The wierdiest thing I have ever crafted with was the rat traps from Dollar Tree. I removed the metal hinges and painted several of the wood pieces and then added Dollar Tree sticker letters to spell a word and some Dollar Tree stickers. They are on my tiered tray.
All of these are so darling and creative. I Love Them!!! 😊 I watch Crafters DIYs for inspiration and rarely venture out on my own... I have many many older Grandchildren and constantly doing things with them😉. But, I really enjoy relaxing with a cup of coffee watching you all and I love your channel😁. God Bless.
Hey are those satin pillowcases? My mom worked at a sewing factory and they made satin sheets and pillow cases. Of course we all had them. I loved them and we wore them out! Love your channel!
I always enjoy watching you craft and this video is no exception. Such great ideas I particularly loved the little jars that you did with the tiny flowers.. Thanks for doing such fun things with such unusual items!
I have used egg trays to glue to a candle stick to use on a holiday table I put red pickled peppers in the middle and wrapped the bottom with a fat quarter
I've used the cloth steering wheel covers can wrap around a frame or edge of a table or stool... I've also covered the top of a foot stool with the cloth book covers... Both quick easy no sew and sometimes even no glue..
For black "posts" outdoors you can also use the black poles meant to attach the brooms, etc., or when DT has them, the blue dust bins with black plastic handles.
Just love everything you make it's too hard to pick a fav. I really wish Dollar Tree would open in the UK by me lol it looks so amazing for the craft bits x

I never thought about using a broom head for texturizing and dry brushing projects, but I am definitely going to get a few of them now.

Loooove the painting with broom!! I'm going to try that!!!!
I'm below the knee amputee, left leg. I use dollar tree wall stickers or a string of lights to decorate my socket. People love it!

Love your creativity Katelyn!! 🌹
Everything is just gorgeous!💜
If you don't have a drill handy, you can always glue the paper towel holder to the inside of the planter.
Loved all your beautiful crafts ideas. Thank you for sharing💕👏🏼
I think that the metal handle for the broom/mop could be cut in half and uses with the flicker-flame lights!
Good one Katelyn...love the idea of your video theme 💖
