What game winning or game tying shot has he hit in the playoffs? Oh right he hasn't ever done that because he hasn't made the playoffs. Idk how tf someone can equate regular season stats to taking and hitting a game tying/winning shot in the playoffs. Shit makes no sense.

Still poor shot selection! Poole played a good game to that point, but that was kinda the point. The Lakers all game played back on everybody but Steph and Klay, because outside of those guys the warriors don’t have great shooters. Most of them are trending toward average. Poole can hit those on occasion, but in clutch time the only guys making those deep shots consistently are Steph and Dame. It’s a very short list for a reason.
No you fkn Bozo 😂😂😂 if he made that shot he’d still get cursed out. You don’t condone bad habits just bc it worked the 1 time in a million. That’s like saying “it’s OK to show up to work late just bc no1 needed you for the first 30 minutes.”

The way Tyrese been playing now , I could honestly see him taking that shot & hitting it 😂 although I also agree with Frye ,it’s just a clash between eras. In Tyreses’ and many players in the leagues’ (also coming up) defense, it’s an open look.
he just hit basically that shot but off the dribble last night 👀
Tyrese is the talk of Tinsletown at the moment... taking Pacers to the Lakers match up.... trampling all the favourites.
Hope his form stays.
@@guesswhomofo 👀👀
Since he was that far out there, if he had taken a dribble then Vanderbilt would have had time to at least kind of contest the shot. So I understand why he shot it once he got the ball in that spot. My issue is, he had no defender on him before getting the ball, so there was no need for him to be so far back. I think he should have spotted up at the three point line.
Thisssssssss 💯 Bad spacing
I agree, he should’ve stepped up before he got the ball, LeBron wouldve likely stepped up as well but it still would’ve been a better look
Dribble, pump fake take the foul if he bites if not, and your still open shoot, or pass you have plenty of time.
best assesment
Take a dribble, pump fake and get Vanderbilt up in the air and then draw the foul on a three point attempt so you either get three free throws or a potential four point play.
Poole, Curry, and Klay were being chased down the whole game. So I don’t blame him to take that shot cuz he had a rare uncontested shot even though it’s far. He has made that shot before and last night he was on a hot streak so he was confident.
Over confidence is a beautiful thing Lakers in 5
He made those shots but not when the game is on the line. He's not a clutch player. How many times have he turned the ball over, got blocked or missed a shot in the final seconds? I would easily choose GPII over Poole in crunch time not to mention Steph or Klay who both were on the court
Your crazy Poole shot was completely stupid
@@dariusz.9119 but not this game
10 seconds lol Lakers in 6
The problem with that shot is why is he standing that far away from the 3pt line. He wanted to take the a difficult 3, when he didn't have to. This is one of the reasons Poole's 3pt percentage has been so bad this season. He typically knocks down good 3pt shots, but he often takes alot of unnecessary bad 3pt shots. He thinks he's Steph, but Steph is simply just trying to get the best 3pt shot that is available to him, whereas Poole is pretty reckless
if he was any closer lebron could of gotten a contest, lebron backed off cuz he was that far away anyway, most players practice these shots nowadays aswell so its a decent look especially for good shooters.
If he had made that you'd be in a different comments section screaming about how Jordan's pronouns are I and him. Sto judging from the result, dud was shooting 60% from three and was wide open to take the shot before anyone could run at him for a contest. Good shot.
shut up bro, bro made a 31 ft 3 point shot before that 28 ft shot he missed. . .it was a good shot
Agreed. Its not the shot. Its the starting point. If draymond wasn't there, then his positioning makes sense. Poole COULD have been positioned closer to the line. Surely a few feet in increases the %. I am not sure about standing closer to the line would have drawn Lebron out to contest. He was a decent defender in his younger days, but at this age and after 47 min game, he is not contesting that in Poole's face.
Great take, you got it 100%. If Kerr keeps refusing to give Poole a reality check… the Warriors will waste away the rest of Curry’s prime if they don’t trade this guy.
Thanks Hali for sticking up for another dude. Your a good dude.
Honestly that’s a good shot he could have stepped up a little
fr, but he obviously couldn’t take a dribble before, all around that’s the type of shots they want Jordan and Steph to both take

@@eamcbmsc you wanna see where Dennis is?😂
@@Teedies-oh7gi edited: I saw it. I’d rather see klay shoot a contested 3 from the corner than jordan poole try to make a shot from 5-6 feet from the 3 point line.
Or he could've just drove the ball
As someone who has been frustrated with Jordan this whole season, I don’t have that big of a problem with this shot. Maybe he could have dribbled it up closer to the 3 point line but he risks taking himself out of rhythm or someone coming over to contest. I don’t necessarily think there were a ton of other options, certainly none that were guaranteed, even if he’d run down the clock a little more. He also can make that shot, he’s just been inconsistent all season.
They had 2 timeouts bruh
plus he hit six in the game. he gets a pass for this one. if he missed all game then ya, bad shit
He certainly could have stepped up closer, even before the pass.
Tyrese is a good decision maker. Poole made some 3s from waaay downtown before. Don't 4get. Poole made some tough 3s this game. For me the most important thing at the moment is to make a quick shot whether is 2 or 3, so you could possibly have one more possession and more chance to win the game. If the game was tie that would be another story. If Poole takes one more dribble he would face AD and Vanderbilt 2 elite defenders. The look was clear why not? Tyrese knows it cause he is the new pointgod. Even he is not in playoffs it’s impressive enough to keep Pacers competitive.
Another thing is, Green could’ve done something like setting up the screen for Poole or sprint down to the other side to clear the space at perimeter instead of just standing there being a non threat at offense.
“That’s why you here with us! And you’re gonna be here next year too!” Channing cut that man’s soul in half with that one.
That's totally not a bad shot given that the Lakers had the paint on absolute lockdown and were blocking shots all over. Poole was open and has made shots from that distance before. There wasn't a better shot available given the circumstance
Exactly. The Lakers defense was schemed to let Poole beat them. That’s why the corner defender didn’t jump the outlet to contest, like normal, but the primary defender came from the strong side.
And he had the hottest hand from 3 in this game, sure Steph was on his way to relocate and had gotten the switch on AR, so he MIGHT have gotten a better look, but a "might" is not worth giving up an open 3 to tie the game with less than 10 seconds on the clock in the hands of the player who had the best %s from 3 that night.
@Jeff how does he stand near the 3pt line, *and give Steph a safe passing lane?* Anything closer to the line would be a dangerous pass for Steph, and easily a fully contested shot for the defense.

If he made that shot, Poole would’ve been on everyone’s highlight reel. He was wide tf open…any dribble he could’ve made was going to get picked up..
Please don’t compare them. Jordan hits some, but not actually at a good rate. He shot 32.6% from three for this year. For reference, Russell Westbrook, who we all call a bad three point shooter and who was left open all year from deep, shot 35.6%. Poole has regressed dramatically and been a massive negative for the warriors all year. They are literally better when he’s not playing (negative box plus minus), not like Lillard who still makes his team better (positive box plus minus)

@@wendzbrand I think GSW lost on the defensive end. offensively they were fine for the most part got good shots but lacked free throw attempts because of the way they clogged the lane… if they can limit AD and get to the free throw line next game I think it’ll be a different outcome cause those shots will be there
as a lakers fan every mistake poole filled me with glee
He shot it. TWICE 💀😭 in season playoffs count ig🤷🏾♂️
I actually wanted Tyrese as a Laker until i heard that 😂😂😂
I agree with tyrese he was hot throughout the game and had no coverage on that shot
