Thereâs a setting where you can make apps and fonts bigger too
display zoom is great i love it!

I got the 12 mini, and Iâm just so happy with it. Relearning how to type on a smaller screen but after 3 years on a 7 plus Iâm really appreciating the smaller form factor. My hands have cramped up so bad after wrangling that old slab of mine and the mini has just made everything better. I donât even feel a need to use a case or pop socket for this thing! (Hill I will die on: pop sockets are a solution to a problem we never should have had to begin with. A band-aid on human folly)
What about the battery?
Went with the mini, so happy with its size overall!
The iPhone 4/4s was my favorite design over all especially because of the size , Iâve been hoping for something similar but with new advanced specs ..... and here it it đ

I bought an iPhone 12 when pre-orders took. I went with the product red color option. I really like it.
Definitely gonna get the Mini. Love the size. Finally a compact flagship.
If they make an iPhone 12 Pro Mini, Iâd buy it in a heartbeat.
Edit: I keep getting comments saying âthe difference is just the cameraâ. Facts: on top of the steel frame and zoom lens, the 12 Pro has 6GB RAM, LIDAR sensor, night mode portrait, ProRAW format, 60 FPS HDR, and starts at 128 GB storage.
When you buy unlocked the 128 GB iPhone 12 is $879, so the price difference is $120. The zoom lens and the extra RAM alone is worth $120.
A 12 Mini with pro features should be about the same price as the 12. I would definitely buy it.

I currently have the 12 mini, love it so much. But after owning for a while I'm upsizing to the 12 for my large hands since they both have the same excellent features. Btw, your detailed comparison helped my decision greatly.
Decided to go from 7 to 12 pro after seeing it in person at the store. The screen is a nice size and seems to be a worthwhile upgrade with 4 years of technology improvements (face id, larger screen, wireless charging, lidar, faster charging, more durable glass, ip68 rating, triple camera, night shots, portrait modes, a14 bionic, improved video, etc.). Next upgrade in 4-6 years.
This is exactly why I am here. My Phone Company has deals for me. My 7 is in need of upgrade. The 13 is too expensive.

One the best compact flagships out in the market. I picked up my 12 mini from Wal-Mart as a refurbished piece from the OG iPhone SE 2020. Few nicks here and there but absolutely love the form factor. Nails it in that department.

Great comparison video. Picked up the mini, very happy havenât looked back. Battery life is good if youâre not doing tons of video or games, and feels great. Glad Apple made a smaller phone without compromising features.

I went with the 12 mini but with hindsight I wish I had gone for the 12 for one simple reason. I miss having a real dual sim phone and with the 12 I can change out the sim reader for a dual one (same as fitted to the Hong Kong and Chinese version) very easily. However the sim reader on the 12 mini is soldered to the motherboard which makes it a very different story to change :(

My blue 12 Mini was delivered Friday morning. Since i use a MacBook or an iPad for most web browsing this smaller phone makes a lot of sense to me.
I've recently changed from an 8+ to the iPhone Mini. Delighted with my decision. There is something really special about the size and form factor. To me.....late sixties, large hands....it feels just perfect. There is something rather special about the size that I really love.

I donât regret getting the 12 since i went from XR to 12 it is smaller feeling but same screen size. Battery is better for me since I donât got 5g really where I live.
Went with the 12, needed bigger screen for ebooks, although hate to give up the hand grip of the mini.

iâve held and used both iphone 12 and iphone 12 mini and honestly getting any of these is fine. the iphone 12 is just the perfect size for me - not too big and not too small. but it is big, i enjoy watching movies and playing games using this phone. as for the iphone 12 mini, it is very lightweight, cute and compact. although the small size, it doesnât affect my typing or navigating through the screen as MY hands are quite small (iâm a girl)

Simple answer : easier to start the app when itâs in a corner or on the side when you use your phone right handed. I guess that itâs one of his most used app on that screen :) Also I may add that his most used apps are in the bottom of the screen and in the last row of each page. Again easier to start a app on the lower side of the screen when the phone is used with only one hand. Am I right Aaron ?

I'm waiting for black Friday, been debating on what iPhone to get for a couple of months and your videos have really helped. It's been between the iPhone 12 mini and the SE 2020 up until now but the iPhone 12 price just dropped lower than 12 mini on Tesco mobile so I thought I'd check it out, glad I did because I'm loving the extra hour of battery in the 12 and the size is more what I'm used to now. I think with my fat fingers I'd make a right mess out of texting on the 12 mini đ€đ
I got my new iPhone mini few days ago. I used to own iPhone XR which is big but at least now with mini it wud fit perfect on my hand and less chance of dropping.
I feel like the notch blends in a lot better on the mini than on the larger iPhones. There isnât much screen around the notch, only enough to display the battery, signal strength, and time, with no space left. Therefore, the notch somewhat looks like it âbelongsâ, whereas the other iPhones, it just doesnât look right.

Yea I have a 7(which is same size as mini) and I have pretty big hands (enough to grip a basketball). Iâm just so used to that small phone, feels comfortable. Compared to the 7 itâs a big upgrade đ
Do you feel like the battery drains a lot?
@@kaylathompson1070 on most days I get like 5-6 hours of screen time over a 24 hour period. Drain while in standby is pretty decent like every other iPhone and unless Iâm using it heavily I charge it every other day.

I upgraded to the 12 mini from the OG iPhone SE.
I went to the Apple Store nearest to me to see them both in person and get a feel for the different sizes.
Once I held the mini and picked up the regular 12 after I knew which one I preferred.
The mini feels like my SE but on steroids with the latest hardware. I got the 12 mini 128 GB in Blue and am absolutely loving it so far!
Are you happy with it for photo/video needs? That, and reading, are the only two reasons iâm waffling between 12 mini and 12. Have the mini but didnât get to put a 12 in my hands.
@@emmettgallagher6090 I find it fine. Maybe because I was already used to the tiny screen on the SE 1 that I donât find reading on the mini to be too difficult. I am 30 with relatively decent vision however. The camera modules are the same between the 12 and 12 mini and the few times Iâve had the chance to use it for photo/video so far look great.

Same thing happened with me. I went to the Apple Store with the intention of buying an iPhone 13, and as soon as I held the 13 mini, the difference in comfort was astounding, I went with the mini and am glad I did.

I went with the Mini and Iâm holding on to my SE 2020 & my SE 2016... all backup phones... the best phone Iâve ever owned is the I Phone SE 1st Gen... that phone lasted 4 years on the same battery and I just the battery replaced in early March and itâs running 13.7 flawlessly. Iâm going to leave it on 13.7 and just keep updating the SE 2020 & the 12 Mini...Now if we can get an OS that ran like iOS 6 did weâd all be in excellent shape!

For me this was kinda a tough choice but I chose the mini. I did like the 12 better due to that 1 hour higher battery life, itâs not much of a difference but can help out in some situations. I ended up with the mini though because my hands are small and I donât need anything big

I am a heavy user abs do a lot of one hand usage. I currently have the iPhone 11 and hate the size and weight. Iâm going to the iPhone 11 mini for easier use and adding a thin extended battery cover to double batt time. The weight will still be lighter than the 11 and the one hand will actually be easier bc of the shape. Excited.

@@gangireddy6129 Yeah, I got it. Gotta admit, the faster battery drain certainly got me by surprise, but I have yet to really stress test it and see just how late into the day I can get with it. Yesterday, I lost my nerve and recharged it well before it got critically low. I was off work today and, having hardly used it, it still sits at 56% as I type this at almost midnight.
Battery gauging notwithstanding, this phone is every bit as awesome as I hoped and then some. It's the first phone I'm actually willing to rock naked...though I did immediately get a tempered glass screen protector put on it.

I've had my iPhone 12 mini for 6 months and I'm a heavy user. You can get 8 hours of heavy game play and streaming from a full charge until 1%. You can easily make it through the day, say starting at 7 and by 9 putting it on the charge, if needed - and if you're not a heavy user.
