    Train Numbers - e.g. 43032 or 800110 - These are train numbers which are specific to that train. No trains can be numbered the same. Locos are 5 digit numbers where the first two numbers are the class of train e.g. 67010 would be a class 67. Multiple Units are 6 digit numbers where the first three numbers are the class of train e.g. 390154 would be a class 390. Click Here to learn more

    Headcodes - e.g. 1F32 or 5M00 - These are used by the railway signallers to determine where trains are on the network. Every train within a region has a specific four code ID. Click Here to learn more
    ➤ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Train_r...
    Set Number - e.g. WB64 or NL04 - These are semi-permanent loco hauled coach formations which are kept together for formalities. The first two letters usually indicate the maintenance depot responsible e.g. OC is Old Oak Common, LA is Laira. The number indicates the rake number.

    22:30 four trains at once wow. Also looking at the two trains going away from Highbury & Islington shows how much quicker the trains can accelerate on the 25kV AC overhead than 750V DC 3rd rail!

    Another Amazing video. That catch of four trains at once was a definite highlight - Impeccable editing!! That pride-livery 378 looks incredibly colourful too, and nice to see some freight mixed in. Also interesting to watch both 750vDC third rail and 25kv overheads in use here. Great work, Starlife!

      Absolutely, its been demonstrated so many times on the UK railways that if you build the infrastructure and run trains, people will use it. This has been the case here, on the Borders Railway and on CrossCountry routes.

    Great video at Canonbury Ross. This is just 378s chaos and nice to catch 378205 "Every Story Matters" in a beautiful pride livery and TnT 69s on RHTT. I did went to Canonbury (on the 15/06/23) but I only catch a couple of freight trains there plus that 66548 on 4M88 must have been diverted cause it ment to go via South Tottenham to get to Gospel Oak. Thanks for sharing and have a good Sunday. All the best, Arnold

      Been meaning to come here for a while so I’m glad I could do it. You’re right about 4M88, it’s meant to go via South Tottenham - not sure why it was routed this way. I was hoping to see some 90s but luck wasn’t on my side. Thanks Arnold 👍🏻😃

    • @StarlifeStudios
      @StarlifeStudios  Před 2 měsíci

      The staff told me to delete my videos when I last went to Limehouse. I could always go and try again but at bigger stations you run the risk. It’s a big risk for me since I’d be travelling there just to be told to leave. C2C is one of the worst operators for this but I’ve had issues with Overground and Southern in the past.

      @StarlifeStudios  Před 2 měsíci

      Hi MP Productions, I'm not sure what you are doing on stations to warrant being kicked out. That has only ever happened to be twice in 5 years and both were in understandable circumstances. As long as you follow Network Rail's Guidelines, be respectful to staff, don't cause obstructions or issues with trains, I have found almost all stations to be helpful rather than a hiderance.

    • @StarlifeStudios
      @StarlifeStudios  Před 2 měsíci

      Cannon Street is a Network Rail station so you should really have signed in as a Trainspotter at the Network Rail Customer Service desk. Some stations are worse than others for this but as long as you are not in peak time, they should be able to give you a visitor pass.
