Such a hugely underrated episode, for me only Jolly Boys Outing and The Unlucky Winner Is beat it. Also had the best line for me out of all the OFAH episides, later in this episode. Del and Rodney chatting up two girls in a club, Del making out Rodney's a top tennis player. Girl asks, "what do you prefer Rodney, astroturf or grass?". Rodney, distracted, replies "I dunno, I've never smoked astroturf". 😆

Only Fools And horses,82 to 2003, best Brit comedy series ever, Del (David Jason) is 82 now, Rodney ( Nicholas Lyndhurst ) is 63, his son died sadly few years ago, only about 20 I think. Shame you can not watch episodes from early years to the later, and follow the story off the Trotters, the script writing is magic by John Sullivan who has passed away sadly. I still watch them now its on here on sky tv all the time.Love your reactions, Mick.😄

I'm so happy he's been given and is able to take this opportunity after the terrible tragedy he suffered (his only child suddenly passed away, for those who don't know), it shows he's been able to heal and move on to a certain extent. It's so cruel, after the decades of laughter and joy he's brought to millions of people. The best clip to watch is of course THAT clip - "play it cool Trig, play it cool..", those who know, know :)

I think every single one of the 60+ episodes that aired from 1981 to 2003 had something in it that was just hilarious.

I think by 1996 Only Fools ended as a series and they just did specials until 2003. Started right at the start of the 80s. It was absolutely fantastic, I'm not sure the content would be as great for non-Brits in 2023. But for Brits in the 80s/90s I think the writing and acting is something that reached heights that will never be reached again. When shows were considered successful at 4 million viewers and hugely popular shows averaged around 10m, Only Fools ended its main run in 1996 with an average of 21m viewers with the final special of 1996 peaking at 25.6m, it was ridiculously popular in its prime.
I’ve got to agree with a lot of the comments. Only fools and horses is the best British sitcom ever. I’ve watched nearly everything worth watching and OFAH is something I can watch daily if it’s on. So sad when it ended as we actually grew up watching their lives for the best part of 20 odd years

The writers were genius, they had you living the show along with the characters, laughing, crying, actually caring about the characters. One show that should be watched from start to finish in order. They don't come any better than this.
The "Yuppy Love" episode of Only Fools..... is worth watching. Lennard Pearce, the actor who played Grandad died while the fourth series was being made and a new character was introduced to replace him, Uncle Albert. The second episode of the fourth series opens with Grandad's funeral and is very poignant.

Please can you do a reaction King Boomer to "Dufrais At The Baseball Game | Facejacker " I'm not sure if the original message I sent to you got there ok. Facejacker is a fantastic clip show where one man plays different characters in public, similar to Bo Selecta and Ali G. Facejacker is the funniest show i've watched easily in the last 20 years, and none come even close.
I think it was 1981 to 2003, I'm fairly sure it finished in 2003, but it was a very long lasting sitcom, it seemed to touch home with a awful lot of people and of course the writers, actors was on a high level for domestic TV. I would agree with you, Rodney does look a little bit like Larry Bird, I think his fairly tall too which I think was one of the reasons why he was picked to play the part. One of the mysteries of the series was 'are they really brothers?' because of the obvious differences, on one of the more sad moments, they had different fathers which was not confirmed by Del till one of or even the last episode/s (same mother). As a whole, it was two young brothers trying to make there way through life, with friends and the odd family member along the way, making a quick buck any which way they could (usually illegal goods in the local market).

Funniest comedy ever made. My dad used to argue there's one that's funnier: *Steptoe & Son* maybe you could look at reacting to that Boomer? It's a very old show in black & white but, it's funny - not all the way through the show but, when there's a funny bit, it's _really_ funny. The one where they divide the house in two, the one where his dad is having a bath in the living room, the one with the coffins... there's endless bits in Steptoe that are insane.
This is the most loved comedy in British history.

S1 e2, Go West Young Man. This was broadcast in 1981 & is by far the best ep of s1.

Someone has probably mentioned this on another OFAH video, but James Buckley played the young Del Boy in a prequel series made about 14 years ago.
Done a good job too. And Nicholas Lyndhurst who played Rodney played Freddie the Frog in it.

It's a BBC show and they are very fussy about how much they release on YT. Ironic considering OFAH is on a UK cable channel pretty much every day !.

Such a great show. Another short clip you could watch from it is where Del falls through the bar. Either that or the chandelier scene.
