I used to always love the Sephora sale. I was a Rouge for years and then wasn’t buying as much stuff, so I lost that status. I’ve discovered that I can pick up a lot of items I enjoy at Macy’s and they have more frequent sales. I’ve recently discovered Indie brands so I’ve been having fun exploring different brands. But I have tons of points at Sephora and decided I wanted the ND Yucca palette, so I used some points to take money off of it. I just wish Sephora had better perks with their memberships. I have a ton of points built up!

I just bought a perfume dupe for angels share by the brand oakcha. It’s called “heaven speak”. It smells great! I can’t wait for it to get cooler in California so I can wear and appreciate it the most. The original killian fragrance is too expensive for me.

Do you think you would ever do a video that goes over your top picks from the drugstore? While I love the Sephora sale, I'm personally not going to be able to shop it this year. I'm much more likely to utilize the drugstore's selection when I'm in need of something. Like right now I'm looking for a new concealer (I think I'm gonna try the Maybelline one you've mentioned.. I'm intrigued 😂) and with how crazy inflation has been, I was thinking that a vid about top drugstore picks might be really helpful to a lot of people. I know you are thinking about the EB Apple Love perfume but I will say this, I bought that with hopes that it would be like a more potent version of Kayali Eden Juicy Apple but sadly, it wasn’t. First thing I wanted to let you know is that it is sweet. Like you, I’m not big on too sweet too sugary scents. This has apple but more sweet less fruity, the apple scent is there but on the sweet side so it is a bit more gourmand. I layer both, only way I can use it. I love Commodity’s Milk, I layer it with Salt & Myth from Ellis Brooklyn and I call it my sexy signature scent. It is SEXY. Hope you try it the way I use it to see what I’m talking about 😊 makes me want to get the New Oudgasm Tobacco perfume! Ladies, we can keep the economy going again on this Sephora sale! 😂
Tree Hut does a Candy Cane scent for winter that is a delicious sugary peppermint. 👌🏻🎄✨ I got the body scrub last year and loved it, but I think they also have a shower gel and a couple other bath & body products. 💜

I love - love - LOVE the Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip balm and Lip Plump. I am going through one every two months. I get up in the morning and apply it before I get my coffee, I put it on after a shower, before bed, etc. It is the perfect lip product. Perfectly pigmented, perfect hydration, perfect application.
I also know it's going to be one of the first things to sell out. 😭

Angie, regarding the Apple Love fragrance, i tried it with a sample and throw it away almost immediately. I really have similar taste as you for perfume and it's nothing like the Kayali one. I love the Kayali one and i used to wear the Nina by Nina Ricci, which is apple based as well. Do with that what you will. Also, i wanted to tell you that you might very well like one that i absolutely love which is Maison Louis Marie, No4 Bois de Balincourt. It's a woody spicy perfume that i like to wear alone or layer it with more sweet perfumes. I love the combination with Kilian Apple Brandy. It kind of ground the sweet of the Kilian one. Like the Kayali: i layer the Invite Only with Eden (the apple one). I find that woody perfumes helps ground sweet/fruity ones. So that was my two cents, let me know what your think!

Milk is my favorite perfume! I received a full size for Christmas last year. It’s my go to fall/winter scent… I receive compliments all the time ! You should buy it. 😉 I think I want to try the Jo Malone fragrance you suggested.

I have quite few things in my cart. I usually talk me self out of some of them. I most likely will add Hudas grunge palette though once i see the color story in person. Fenty has good sales and i might have enough products to benefit from purchasing directly and avoiding shipping, but like you mentioned, i like knowing i can easily return a product if it does not work out. Someone mentioned Ultas sale of 20% which i loved since it includes prestige brands, but i have only seen 15% recently. If that did return it definitely is worth the wait especially now that they carry so many other high end brands

I can’t wait until next Friday!!! I love the CT Color wand in Pinkgasm Sunset. It is such a beautiful color. I wore it with a bronze eye look and got so many compliments! I know it will last me a while but, I kind of want to buy a back up. 🤦🏼♀️I KNOW that is a no-no! My list currently is Patrick Ta lipstick in Blushing or a new Lawless lipstick. As an arab, oud is a standard scent.. I was so intrigued by the tobacco and coffee but the coffeee had too many floral notes which turned me off from it. I don't do floral or sweet food smells. Dark chocolate, coffee and spices are about as far as I'm willing to go for gourmands. If I want a sweet perfume, I go for fruity/grassy scents. Definitely picking up the tobacco oud - it sounds so sexy and the description got me. My kayali collection is now getting out of hand.
I love to put perfume on before bed too. My husband laughs at me.
I think the glowy blush/ highlighter combo came out of Japan and Korea. I have a bunch and they are pretty amazing.
I do have a 4U2 that is a Korean brand and _so_ pigmented it's like I look slapped, far too much. So I mix it with foundation and it makes a delightful creme blush.

Also, a note for the Huda pressed Easy Bake, it is said to be a more full coverage than the loose powder. I have been loving it, on bare skin, skin tint, or foundation. It can get a little cakey on me if too much added, and I have found I like the little smooth "puff" that comes with it is my favorite to apply with.

I'm just gonna get my beloved favourite skinny and waterproof brow pencils from Sephora brand, I use two shades to make my brows more natural looking: Soft Charcoal on top and Ebony below (where there's shade from my brow hairs and thus Soft Charcoal appears more like paint than natural, unlike it does on the top of my brows, where it blends in perfectly)
I added a nude-for-me Morphe lip liner to my cart per your recommendation too

Great grounded video! I evidently have very similar taste in perfumes. I’ve got the big bottle of Angels’ Share in my cart. I keep debating if I should do the big bottle or just another sample. I also see that Milk Expressive is available in a smaller travel size where it didn’t seem to be before. I may grab that too. In Canada shipping can be a real deterrent If I can get free shipping, 15-20% off, I can go in store to check shades and have the ability to easily return if it arrives in substandard condition I’m happy. It does make this sale exciting to me! I have my eye on some splurge items such as the perfumes, the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate duo, the Westman Atelier Pink Powder, a Gucci Lipstick, Oribe conditioner and a few restocks on mascara and hair stuff. I’m also a little tempted by the T3 curling Wands. If you like Cherry Perfumes, I highly recommend finding a sample of Bodacious by Bodacious the Victorious. It’s the better version of TF Lost Cherry, I think.

I typically like similar foundation to you even though I'm more dry than oily. But I really don't enjoy the fenty one. It looks like I have chunks of skin all over my face 😂😅 guessing it's my dryness that causes this lol.

How do you think the Fenty foundation would do on super dry but combo skin? I have desert dry cheeks and an oil slick t-zone, but don't like the dewy look.

There isn’t such a thing as Sephora sale here, I mean, they have sales in Mexico too, but you’re always (99%) forced to buy for a certain amount of money in order to “enjoy” the discount of %15 or %20. I mean, I don’t want to spend $150-200 to get a discount just because I want to get 1 or 2 products that cost, let’s say, $50.🤷🏻♀️
In France Sephora sales are only perfume sets, and the small products by the till or Sephora own brand. I don't even bother looking at Sephora during sale periods (France imposes sale periods for shops)
@@staceyhookins3433 That’s interesting! I haven’t shopped in Sephora for months, because when I decided to shop online for the first time (because of a sale), I didn’t get my package. They said that there were some works on the street near to where I live, so they couldn’t deliver it. I mean, come on! There was nothing and there are plenty of other streets. I got my money back, but this was a huuuge disappointment.
I used to not do returns but now I do. If a foundation doesn't work or I can only order it online and the shade doesn't match I'll return it.

Have you Tried ILIA? I am Canadian mixed with my dad's English undertone; I can never find a tone that isnt too dark or deathly looking, where do you find a light olive???? no where that is where. lol ; Ilia has a few shades that would work for me. I will never order ND from her website again. Terrible customer service. FedEx Delivered to my neighbor. Could not get it back and Fed Ex was no help because ND would not reopen claim. I emailed ND multiple times amd received no response. I had a picture of the delivery at the neighbor's house!

Angie, that pressed powder by Huda isn’t under eye friendly. Ages you , I’ve watch time after time everyone tries it they don’t like it anyway. Makes pores huge and dries under eyes out.
