Designated as "The Most Beautiful Island in the World" by Condé Nast in 2015, Palawan is truly the "Last Frontier" in the Philippines. It is the same island region in the Philippines where Disney did their research on the clown fish for their feature film "Finding Nemo". It is also the same islands from where Alex Garland was inspired to write the book "The Beach" which was ultimately made into a film and shot on location in Thailand, starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
The video was shot entirely in 4K with the DJI Phantom 3 Professional drone in El Nido, Palawan, Philippines; edited down to HD (1080P) for CZcams.

Lately been homesick but mainly missing family and relatives there. Moved away from Laoag as a child and been living in the states now. Loving all the Philippines videos esp there in Palawan. Thank you, Marina! We moved from the Philippines tot the US when I was 3 but my father is from Laoag. You really do need to experience the beauty of the Philippine islands, especially Palawan. With the popularity and attention it's received by Travel Leisure and Conde Nast for example, do it as soon as you can before it gets overly touristed. Right now you can still enjoy parts of Palawan like you're in another world of your own. :)
Awe youre welcome! Small world our family knows Bareng family so who knows Im gonna have to inquire. Yes so sad last time I was back was 6 years ago and way overdue. Unfortunately we always went to Laoag and visit family but havent been anywhere in the Philippines. Palawan is the place or Buracay is what Ive always heard thats beautiful and it is! I so love the drone captions and yes it looks like its already populated with tons of tourist. I guess when I go we will just have to hire our own personal boat and go on the other side of the more popular islands. I also heard Coron, and something Princessa is beautiful! Ok if youre ever on Oahu Id like to shoot with your drone and make a video would you let me know if can? Thanks so much!
Unfortunately, most Laoag family are now in Manila area so we don't get to go to Laoaog as often anymore. If you ever decide to go to El Nido, Palawan let me know. I can hook you up with the same tour guide/boat man who made this all happen. I see you're from Oahu. We have family there, too. Mililani and Pearl City. Mahalo!

Palawan is a very beautiful place in Philippines but in other sides there's a lot of undiscipline people who throw garbages along the riverside.. so sad but this is true!!! need to take care the nature before its too late.. LOVE OUR NATURE BY TAKING CARE OF THEM..,
But the government is trying to impose "No throwing of garbage anywhere, and even the locals."
