What a BEAST of a course. And a great ground for Mason. 6 over is good anywhere but at over 8000 yards to get 6 over is very impressive!
It was a very solid round. Zac Radford shot 76 there 2 years ago and he’s a pro.

I appreciate you both playing the big dawg tees at the course and loved the video. This is the longest and highest rated course I've ever seen and as a 12 HDCP I can't imagine coming close to breaking 100 here. Course was beautiful and you had a great caddie, keep up the old glory trip!
Props to both of you for taking this insanely difficult course on. Well done! Personally, for me though, I would not have ranked it nearly as high as some of the others on here, but thats what makes the list interesting to look back on and talk about!

French Lick hosted the 2015 Senior PGA Championship. The winner was -8 thru four days, second place was -4, and only four other people even finished under par for the tournament.
They didn’t even play the 8,000 yard tees. Imagine the pros battling it out from the tips!
@@POIPLEMAN I got to watch that tournament in person for a day. We followed around Tom Lehman and Colin Montgomerie who were 2 of the only players under par. It's a beast of a course
I've played the dye course 4 times, and two more scheduled this year. The tips are silly. However, my home course in Indiana has a 741 yard par 5

Watching from Dundee Scotland and have to say im drawn to you guys such chilled nature..even there where you could see it was frustrating you guys kept so chilled on a very tough course.
We have a course like this in St Andrews (the Dukes 7400) in our temps its brutal but stunning🏌️♂️
You could feel the pain on this one boys…lol. But you both provided a perfect example of how to stay grounded and just remember we’re out on the course to have fun first and foremost. Thanks for this reminder!
French Lick, way back during prohibition days, used to be where all the Chicago "gangster's" would go to drink and gamble. The Dr. Cook family of Cook Medical, Bloomington (IU land) developed the property. Mr. Dye was asked to develop a future US Open venue. Think he nailed it!

When you come to Missouri try out Dalhousie Golf club. It’s an hour and a half south of St. Louis. Awesome course. Good good are just wrapping up filming here for a good good week. I would love to watch you guys play!
Raindance national in Colorado is a new course and the longest in North America. Should definitely try and get out there

That course looks insane. Have played 5 Dye courses including Sawgrass and Kiawah. They look like pieces of cake compared to this beast (unless the wind is ripping 30+ like it frequently does at Kiawah). Found this channel near the end of the 50 state journey, fun going back to watch the older ones.
I live about an hour north of french lick. Love to play there, but outta my price range. If you come back to Indy, give the Brickyard Crossing a try, holes inside the Indianapolis Motor Speedway or Bear Slide
