OH GOD YES!!! Can we make that happen? I want to see Amy and Hope's relationship blossom in a separate mini series or even a movie sequel. They had such a beautiful spark igniting by the very end of the film. There should be an online petition where we get enough signatures to make it happen. I'd be the happiest man on the planet!
That would be interesting! I'd love to see this world expand, and especially would want to see where Hope and Amy's relationship goes too!

What fools voted this down?! What love and appreciation they have for one another. Beautiful. The movie is freaking great! It’s not just modern-it’s realistic. And the ladies do an amazing job. You feel for them, you like them, you cringe with them. Can’t wait to own it and make friends watch it with me.

Ms Fine, Tanner, Nick, Alan, Hugo (white Hispanic which obv isn't PoC but Hispanics face representation struggles too)... and the parties and the school hallways were as mixed too, all those names before had IMPORTANT roles in the film, hardly replaceable with a bunch of post-it notes saying *insert PoC here*

Gender isn't relevant to how good or bad a director is. Also politics inserted into all work preformed by a director causing most people to not see her work make that person not so great.
Oh suck it of course the golden era we’re dominated by men because women weren’t given the opportunity or the space. But there is something to be admired about a woman’s perspective. We are sisters to each other, mother of the sons you speak of it’s time the word acknowledged we are half of the population. Men have always been given the mic to tell their story so it’s important to give women the same space and agency.
Olivia Wilde is trying so hard not to say that this is a movie that's been done before, just now with female main characters.

It was alright but there was definitely some moments that were exactly like Superbad even down to the music. If I could do it again I would definitely rent but not see in the theaters.

No one grows by sitting around talking about how great they are. This wasn’t a very good movie, but everyone involved could eventually make a good movie if they realize that they have to make better movies than this.
I have not seen the movie but from the trailers it just seems like a dude movie played by female characters.
I would recommend watching it. I think it goes beyond the slapstick comedy and bro jokes. I think the most important thing about this film was like not making assumptions about different people right off the bat.
