French cinema is always successful in portraying the spoilt nobility who seek comfort, voluptuousness, debauchery and extreme pleasure. The Count and his friends are a real hit. The only thing that catches the eye and doesn't quite seem to be twisted in terms of plot is the role of Ophelia (by Coline Beal). Even in the trailer she looks amazed when the new Count is proclaimed, and by the end of the film it's revealed that she knew everything and twice as much, that she was the only one who understood where everything was going and that her main task was to get the girl to the Bastille. It all seems beautiful, but it's not convincing. Marilou Aussilloux is quite beautiful and seductive. And Julien Frison is very talented.
Cette série est absolument génial !!! J'adore l'ambiance, les costumes, les acteurs, la réalisation est superbe ! Tous les acteurs sont bons, mais j'ai une préférence particulière pour Donatien 😊

So when he's finally re-introduced into the story, he's clean, beautiful, and wearing white nd soft pink. Shit's about to hit the fan. A monster , dressed in White.
@@alxxz the show only has 8 episodes and 1 season. I’m a writer ✍️ myself and wanted to research the French Revolution, but Les Misérables wasn’t doing it for me. So far the shows been great. European storytelling is a bit more detailed and intimate than most action packed USA 🇺🇸 shows. I’d recommend it!

Il m'a fallut en arriver au 4ème épisode pour prendre conscience que jusqu'à maintenant, les individus contaminés par le sang bleus ressemblent en presque tous points aux vampires, aux deux exceptions que le soleil ne leur fait pas de mal, et qu'au lieu de boire le sang des humains, ils les mangent.
Cette serie est géniale. Et cette interprétation de sarabande donne des frissons
