Tried to watch this when it used to be on channel 4 but really couldn't get in to it. I mean, the audio was OK and picture quality was good, but my TV, it was full of lizards. L-ll-lll-lizzzzzids
@@noelmckenna3510 spoons is amazing. there are a few other big train sketches that are definitely jostling around the top tier (cake factory, office wanking, zurich, is this about me not being married).
I found a plot hole. At the start the guy doesnt recognise the television man (when he is at the door). Then in the middle of the sketch he says "you sold us it, you set it up" (or something along those lines). Which means he must have already met him. AHA!
Personally I read it as some weird metaphor. It doesn't have to be lizards. There's a really dark sketch featuring a house sale, that to me is also just a metaphor for people having you over a barrel during particularly important and almost non-negotiable purchases. I've certainly had plenty of lizards down the wire.
I like the way he says 'Mr Lizard...'.

You did it. Why did you fill your television set with lizards? 😐
A Lynchian observation of dealing with corporate customer service. Absurd, Kafkaesque and infuriating beyond measure.
Mark Heap is arguably the most talented comedy actor on British television. His acting in Spaced was similarly genius.
You're not wrong
At least it's a family-run company.
Hilarious! Aphex Twin's music is just perfect here.
I have seen many many horror movies in my life but Mark Heap's acting in Jam creeps me out more than any of them
I fucking love Jam. It's like the most fucked up thing ever made. Aphex Twin and the soundtrack in general also fucking top notch
I wonder how many of these sketches originated from dreams.
Why does this feel more like the pre-title sequence of Doctor Who than a comedy sketch?
How she starts calming him down at the end then starts smacking him wtf lol 😂
This dark sketch has stayed with me for YEARS... and it's still as funny and fucked up as ever!
How is it fucked?
''no you sweep them up''
Classic tv, c'mon chris, more jam please!
really wish that chris morris would team up with david lynch! a team in heaven.
They played the audio of this sketch at the Prince Charles just before the start of INLAND EMPIRE. So fitting
I love dark surreal comedy, and this is the pinnacle!
Have you seen Jam by Chris Morris?
incredible acting, all of them
You can get a lizard-free service if you upgrade to their XXL package.
Kevin Eldon is so good at playing creepy characters.
the actor Kevin Eldon
Dude it is Aphex Twin, the track is called Curtains and it's on disc 1 of Select Ambient Works Vol. 2
Track 7
BGM: Aphex Twin - Curtains
Of course it's Aphex Twin
Mark Heap and Kevin Alden do some of the funniest skeches ever. Morris at his best.
this is the best comedy sketch of all time
Spoons (Simon peg )is it's equal
@@noelmckenna3510 spoons is amazing. there are a few other big train sketches that are definitely jostling around the top tier (cake factory, office wanking, zurich, is this about me not being married).
Humour can be a personal thing. I found it very funny, but you have to tune into the surreal nature of it.
"You filled your tele with lizard's"
Mark Heap's goading is brilliant! He should do it more often
Mr. Lizard is my kind of guy.
You filled your telly with lizards? :P
He's Mister Lizar...D! :P
Goddamn, I love this sketch!
dunno. I have a wierd sense of humour. This is one of those sketches that gets better every time you watch it.
must be a family business
best sketch ever.
aphex twin
You did it.
This is the funniest thing I've ever seen!! The screams at the end when his wife is hitting is absolute class.
It has everything doesn't it? Not to mention: the lizards.
Great comedy
jam is so good

AHA!
Maybe he was at work and his wife met the guy when he came to install it in the daytime...
Not really, people are like that, saying 'you' meaning the company. Poor front line minions...
another Mr Lizard :D:D:D
@JasonDeeWILEY1980
Chris Morris is in the process of making a film called Four Lions.
Kevin Eldon will be in it but I'm not sure about David Lynch!
Sounds good, I look forward to watching it when it’s released.
Sweep them up
It's Brian!
I LOVE MR LIZARD

@AbrasionUK
Ah good. Faith in humanity restored :)

Слава Слава!
So good! But they are geckos.
That's not my fault, you'll have to take it up with Mr Lizard, thh, thh, thh🦎🦎🦎
@fieldingmellish44 well said
Amelia would be wonderful in Eastenders if she played this character but I hope for her sake she wont have to lower herself!
Well, she was in Coronation Street back in the 80s
@Hissanrach its called acting.
Thumbs up if this is the highlight of Mark Heap's career
I have to thumb down mate. Friday night dinner is the highlight of Mark Heaps career.
@@pizzab0t bollocks to that! Friday night dinner was when Mark heap sold out. Awful show.
Friday Night Dinner is hilarious, and Mark's 'Jim' is the best thing in it.
For me it was in Brass Eye, the gay guy who got aids from his boyfriend or the pedo who sold potatoes from a van
@bmcprime No, there isnt.
i might change my youtube name to:
'Mr Lizard'
Is that your boss's name?
@AbrasionUK
I really hope that's a joke...
The guy's kind of a feak lol, he might really be part lizard.
absolutely nill unfortunately.
ha everyones got a different sense of humour. no offence toyou whatsoever but i find this a tad creepy :S
creepy and funny aren't mutually exclusive! This would be nowhere near as funny if it wasn't creepy.
Omg. How not funny...
how the heck is that funny?
