    I got a pair of tukanos in black. I think is the most semi formal or classy black-boot around for this style. The term metropolitan you used to describe it might be the righr one. Very nice.

    Thank you (as always) for talking about last VOLUME. I've got such flat feet that I'm looking for low volume lasts. I have found that the AE Higgins Mill fits me better than any boot, going up a half size from Brannock and down to a B width.

    I've just ordered Tukano in Black Wickett and Craig with a commando sole. I've got big wide awkward feet, I'm in the UK and I'm used to strange EU sizing. All my EU sized footwear is 47 or 48. US sizing is much better. I contacted Andres with my foot length of 29.5cm and he suggested 45.5EE or 46EE. I was nervous about this but after watching your video, I placed my order with confidence. Thank you.

Thanks for your excellent reviews in general. You have a nice refined taste btw and great insight into the subtle variations in last designs all over the world with the reasoning behind it.

    Love boron can’t stop wearing them.. got size 43E and the fit was perfect for my slim foot….Almost like the boot was made specially for my foot …the boots give me this sort of bounce when I walk, like car shocks or something, but its a good comfy bounce that makes you want to walk lol!! it’s weird but I’ve been wearing them daily since the second batch arrived and my bordon boot is the only boot I really want to wear now …. Its gets more comfortable each and every day … today was like I was wearing a leather sock 🧦 all day with a nice stable bounce under my foot … I walked and worked 7 hours out in the snow and cold today, here in Iowa. And my foot have not once gotten cold in these boots not once so ever and I’m wearing Reebox sports socks, that are thin as shit and my feet are not cold nor are they hot … This is the perfect boot and it blows Thursday’s and redwing iron rangers out the water so far As I own them all and others as well … but the Borden boots have became my favorite and the only boot I want to wear and prance around town inn lol🤦🏽‍♂️

    Thank you so much for doing this video Dale. This format is really so good imo, simply the best. The EDM unboxing vids aren’t for me 😬.
    Whenever I look at the Bordon (or Meermin or Beckett Simonon), I immediately think “oh man that last looks too tight for my toes”. For people that have D+ or E width toes should we just look elsewhere or is ordering Brannock size a viable option? I tried ordering same as brannock with Thursday Boots and while it gave more breathing room in the width of the toes it was just too long. When it gets to be more than a thumbs width I don’t like the feeling of your foot rotating through its step but having too much shoe length to pivot over if that makes sense.
    That “damage control” statement on the stitchdown construction lol.

    I do not have any experience with Bordon boots yet; however, you are very right about the Parkhurst boots' sizing as you brought up in discussion. Especially, on my first Parkhurst pair I sized down half from Brannock. The fit/width is okay (with light wool socks) as 602 last can accommodate E width; but I found the length is slightly shorter compared to GrantStone (for instance). As a result, some time I get the weird feeling that my toes are almost touching the front of the boots.
    Apart from that, these black boots are very sharp looking. Enjoy! Thank you for the video.

      @DalesLeatherworks  Před 2 lety +1
