When they got back together I had to go see them.
They rocked.

Oh please, there are a lot of amazing voices out there. Not the same, of course (who needs copies?), but great in their own rights. Like, on my favourite playlist on my phone, you can find songs from the last 5-6 decades, from Nina Simone to Chasing Jonah (“Warpaint”)...

The song is great but I specially liked the mini movie made for it, the girl realizing that the guys were gay and leaving in the end cause she knew one of them was madly in love for the other guy who didn't want to accept that he is gay. Amazing video. And the songs translate perfectly for that situation.

Then at the end of the video, the three of them are sleeping in a motel bed and the second guy is awake, lying next to the couple. The girl gets up and starts to sneak out, and there's a moment where it seems like she knows the other guy is awake. She leaves, and her boyfriend rolls over in his sleep and puts his arm around the other guy.

I'm listening this song so many times and every time it amazes me. The beautiful intro, the calm verse but when pre-chorus she sings with so much raw feeling and, oh God, the breathtaking chorus. The strings, the delicate guitar melody, great drumming and the voice of Deborah Dyer. And of course, the great production from Andy Wallace.
I was just searching on TIDAL albums that Andy Wallace produced, and this song appeared on the list. Now it is one of my favorite songs of all.

I heard about this song sometime last year and I thought this song was recently released. I was shocked to realize this song has been out for a while. She has such a powerful voice
It is amazing how Skunk Anansie managed to get 4 amazing singles(Charlie big Potato, Secretly, follow me down and Lately) all from the amazing album Post Orgasmic Chill. In those times a good enough band could easily do such a thing. Taday is all so rushed, fans and companies demand the new thing, an album is around for 2 months there is already people asking for a new one. There is not time to allow the music to maturate in our minds and ears like a good wine. From 2000 onwards the need to rush produciton seems even more evident

Now i can't stop listening to them. Thanks to iDays for giving space to a fantastic band that seems to have been forgotten, but still lives and retains an authentic magic rare to find these days❤

I remember watching the end credits of Cruel Intentions, years ago. the first few notes of this song played. they sound dark and actually kind of scary. the rest of the song isn't dark or scary. those first few bass notes are what brought me here.
