Uhm, guys, are you sure that the Nord Stage 4 88 really uses the Kawai action? I thought Nord uses the new Fatar TP/110 action for the Nord Stage 4 88 and 73. The Fatar action - to my understanding - is more of an allrounder, which suites the various playstyles (piano, organ, synth etc) of the Stage quite well. The Nord Grand, on the other hand, indeed does use a Kawai action.
This is what I know to be true also, it's difficult to find this information online, Nord doesn't want to advertise Fatar action, because Fatar manufactures their own keyboards. you can also find the same action in the StudioLogic keyboards. In my opinion, for Piano Players, the Kawai Action is the best.
Yes I’d like to know as well. I own the Nord grand which uses the Kawai keybed .Does the stage 4 use kawai as well ? I thought it uses Nords triple hammer sensor
You guys need to find a Binson Echorec or use the new replica from T-Rex or equivalent, and hook Ted and this board up to that. Ted sounds awesome with the synth sounds.
I have owned both the Nord Stage 3 and RD-2000. And the RD has a heavier and more realistic pianoaction, but I disliked the sound of Roland so much that I ended up selling it. Compared to the warm, organic and authentic sound of the Nord Stage, the Roland sounded very artificial in comparison. Now….the keys on the Stage 4 is even better than on the Stage 3. I think the keys on the Stage 4 is the same as on the Piano 5, wich has the the best action and connection between key and sound I have ever played.

@@thecutmusic1 The only Nord with a Kawai action is the Nord Grand
Best there is...love it! 😊
Gorgeous sounds, great demo!
If anyone has tried this and the nord electro 6HP what do you think? The action felt a bit lighter on the stage 4 but both are super nice.

My family callis it "big red" because it's always in the way.
note to all: I misinformed about the Kawai action in this Nord 4 stage piano!
How does this board compare with the Rolland RD-2000?

Since when did videos about talking about Piano become better than actually “Playing” the Piano ?
