@@manager4409 if you look at live concert recordings, she's always got the ear pieces in her ears. Speak Now, especially, you csn see them in the tour videos. Dear John, Last Kiss. Those ones specifically I've seen the ear pieces when she sings. They're used to block out the sound around them to focus on what they were meaning to do but also to help keep in tune. When she's singing, she's hearing herself perform with the music that goes with it. I did similar things with my karaoke machine when I was little. I'd put earbuds in and sing instead of playing it loudly through the house. Lmao. I could even record my songs to a cd on it and remove the vocals from an artist's album and put my voice over it if I wanted. Essentially turning it to a karaoke song even if it wasn't. Just had to know where the lyrics lined up lmao
Their are not only to block the sound outside, you need them to be able to sing in ture. In places like that the backtrack sound gets so distorted that of you sing to that you are completely off tune

I literally was just there and every time she made shocked expressions the crowd got louder and louder it was amazing. This lasted for a good 5-10 minutes lol.
She also said "i'm 33, which means i'm 174 in popstar years" or smth like that so this is must be an eye-opening moment for her that people still care and love her no matter what happens

It never occurred to me until just now, but the biggest drawback Ive heard from musicians about wearing âin earâ monitors is that they canât hear the audience and it makes it difficult to connect with the crowd. Now clearly Taylor can connect with the crowd. But she can only hear just how thunderous the cheering is on those rare occasions throughout the show where she can take them out for a few seconds like she does here. So that shock and appreciation you see on her face here is probably genuine shock.
I was literally there and I was so confused at firstâŠI thought she was either shocked or frustrated that we wouldnât quiet down. Quickly realized she was crying tho, made me cry a bit too đ

I just hope her and her band and crew donât suffer from burnout. 52 shows in the US alone, international shows to be announced, 3+ hours each, itâs the most sheâs ever toured. It must take a lot of energy to travel around and perform for a whole evening then to repeat it so many times.
This seems to be happening at every venue so far after champagne problems. Its the perfect point in the show for the crowd to be heard
