Love crushing limits of those Mississippi river perch. Im headed out again tomorrow if the snow isn't to bad. Had 3 fish just over 14in a few day's ago when I was out.

I did not know there were Whitefish on the Mississippi R. Cool!
In the 60s, 70s we would get perch to 17" and occasionally larger off Chicago gold coast shore in the spring. Delicious.

The whitefish reference was for the bay of Green Bay. A 17" perch would be a fish of a lifetime 🤠👍

      Ahh ... Hahahaha!
Waking up at 3am and jumping on CZcams with half a brain working. Not a good idea to comment, just watch the video. 🤦🏼‍♀️
Yes. We were kids and rich people were nicer then. They'd let us fish off the jetties. We weren't adult size yet, so the big fish looked super giant!
      Good show. Keep it up.

I'd take some perch that size every once in a while over getting limits of 8 inch perch!

Happy New Year. Hope the ice bite is good for you this year.

  • @christophermesquita1147

I live near Lake Simcoe in Ontario Canada and if you get on the rite school you can get as many 10 inch plus perch as you can reel up. The limit is 50 with a sportsman license and some how its still a factory every year

The large screen unit that I was using is a Garmin UHD 93 SV (livescope).
