I was another there that day. Polley's drive remains one of the best I've ever seen in any form of motorsport. Watching it again gave me the same feeling that the best man didn't win on the day
i was there that weekend as a 20 yr old, cold and wet but im glad to say witness to one of the greatest finals ever. a massive polley fan back in the day and to see him going around the outside like that was amazing and an inspiration to many pretenders. thanks for posting.
