You’re welcome. I aim to swerve. 😎
Dude. Continuous improvement. You are always striving to be the best at what you do! Love it!
Any tips for jumping on a 7ft bar table, where the cue ball is weighted differently or sized differently so it isn't kept by the table?
Many of us get our start playing in bar pool leagues before we get to the next level, which gives many early players the bad habit of hitting the ball far too hard.
Oh, also! I think new and developing players need help finding the right stick.
When you're starting out, you don't know the difference between a slender control tip, like you'd find on most Meuccis, for example, and what hard and soft tips are best for, or even how to judge how to pick out the right stick by weight. Many of us just go for feel when starting out. It's akin to our first trip to a fresh fruit stand. We see everyone else squeezing the fruit, so we do too, but we have no idea what we're looking for.
Keep up the amazing content! You rock!
Jumping on a bar box with a heavier CB really isn't much different; although, it is a little tougher, especially if the cloth is worn and thin. I play in a VNEA bar box league, and the CB is the same weight as the OBs. I haven't seen an oversize/overweight CB in a long time.
@@AnsharSeraphim Cue selection isn't really that important. See:
billiards.colostate.edu/faq/cue/selecting/
The same goes for tip harness; although, a harder tip offers slight advantages per the info here:
billiards.colostate.edu/faq/cue-tip/hardness/
The same goes for cue weight. See:

@@DrDaveBilliards Thanks for all the great information!
@@AnsharSeraphim You’re welcome. I hope it helps.
Practice =‘s SKILL GAINED.😅
a side view of this vid would help establish a more definitive contact point and cue angle. is there such a vid?
The “long” version of the video shows everything in detail:

@@DrDaveBilliards Thanks, doc.
Dr. Dave its still not working 😭 I've anaylsed everything in my form and have made constant minor adjustments in accordance to jump technique from your extra resources but it's just not lifting 😭
Do you have a jump cue? You might try others if you know people with some. Other than that, all I can suggest without working with you in person is to try everything in the videos here:
