Tywin's definitely one of the best characters ever made. With a magnificent soundtrack, of course. This song reminds everyone what happened last time someone dared to tempt the fury of the Golden Lion of Casterly Rock, and immortalized the defeat of the Red Lion of Castamere. The thing with Tywin wasn't even that classical Macchiavellian mindset we're used to see with so many villains, but Charles Dance's charisma, and the fact of that Tywin as a character actually succeeded with that mindset, unlike many other Macchiavellian villains. So again. A magnificent soundtrack for a magnificent character.

Тайвин как персонаж- битый жизнью,циничный,умный ,осторожный во всем.обдумывает свои шаги,скурпулезный,коварный и хитрый , жёсткий,знающий что такое " честь слова"
,холодный ,расчетливый.гордый и непреклонный,желающий власти и для этого не гнушающийся ничем.
Это если смотреть со стороны человека.
Но взять других претендентов на железный трон то они и в подмет и ему не годятся,все слабые копии.
Как выше в комментариях писали что кто-то посылает армию,а Тайвин Ланнистер посылает певца.
Ни до него - ни после, не было более мощного игрока за трон!

I wouldn't say they were bankrupt.
The mines were empty and the crown was in great debt, so they were undeniably at the verge of bankruptcy and would definitely colapse into a massive economic crisis as soon as the war ended. But at least up to season 8 they still had the money or (or at least credit) to hire massive armies form across the sea and keep themselves afloat.
Honestly It would be quite interesting to see the Iron Bank suddenly shifting their support to Daenerys due to the Lannisters (ironically) failing to pay their insurmountable debt, it would add some more credibility to the way the bank works (they supposedly fund your enemies if you fail to pay them), which for the entire show seemed like a completely imbecile entity always lending money to the losing side, never getting their money back and not doing anything about it.

@@gregorywilliams5606 Considering how it ended, I was lucky that I stopped watching it earlier! and the original reason, most likely, is that the setting of the Middle Ages is interesting to me in games, not in TV series, and I just don't care about this story! I adore Dr. House Dexter or the Sopranos, but "Game of Thrones" has not hooked me with its world and history! in particular, I really liked Tywin's character and his actor, but that's it :)

This version makes me think that Tywin took no pleasure in the destruction of those houses, in fact he was haunted by them. Always hearing the endless sceams of the women and children as he flooded the halls with water until the screaming stopped. And now, he sends this song to anyone daring to stand against him so he never had to commit such an act again.
Tywin did things that he found cruel, evil and sadistic, all to ensure the survival of his family, legacy and future. That, is what made him so dangerous.

It’s not entirely false, I mean Tywin specifically promoted and spread this song as the anthem of his house, not because he couldn’t repeat what he did to House Reyne, but because he didn’t want to repeat it. I think we all knew tywin had to die at some point in the story. he was a part of the old guard, he was a powerhouse of a player and probably more ruthless then any other player, when it came to getting what he wanted. so with all the other players off the board he had to go for the plot to move on and open up for the new guard to come inn. it sucks, but it is what it is...
