Lisa marie was nine years old when her dad passed and she was at Graceland. And seen her dad on the bathroom floor it traumatized her till this dY.and than losing her son Benjamin to suicide.its heartbreaking. Her son is buried with his grandpa Elvis at Graceland. Brandy.

I love the few duets Lisa did with her father. I wish she would do more. With the anniversary of Elvis' death coming up on the 16th, could you react to a tribute song to Elvis? There is an interview here on YT that Lisa Marie gave talking about the experience of recording in The Jungle Room (den) at Graceland.
I haven't watched it so I can't speak on it. But I think she talks about how at point she can't through recording one of the duets and asks her Dad did help (or, if you order, his spirit; some say Elvis never left Graceland and in fact you can sometimes feel this "presence" when you walk into Graceland; never been so I don't know if that's true or not).

/////// Listen to the Original Studio Recording of just Elvis doing this, before she tampered with it. The original is Brilliant. No disrespect but Lisa simply doesn't sing that well. Her own musical career never took off, so she put out many of these duets with her father, which gives her instant attention she cannot get on her own. However, I do commend her & her mother for what they've done with running Elvis Enterprises. They kept it going.
She may be his daughter, but talent clearly skipped a generation. I am a huge Elvis fan but I'm sorry: Lisa Marie can't sing if her life depended on it. There used to be a video of her "singing" Lights Out live on Top of the Pops and the whole song was pretty much "sung" off key, especially the adlibs at the end. Lisa does write many of her own lyrics. It would have been better if she'd released them as poems. I know from insiders who were involved in the whole process of starting her musical career years back that people involved with that literally laughed themselves silly each time a recording session had ended. I believe Lisa was more or less forced into starting a music career by Priscilla or EPE to get a new inroad into keeping Elvis's name alive or find a new source of revenue. It was sad, really. As far as her looks are concerned: yes, you can clearly see whose daughter she is, but she is hardly a 100% look-a-like which tons of fans like to be lieve. She actually is a mix of Anna Lillian Iversen (Priscilla's mother), Gladys Presley (Elvis' mother), Priscilla and Elvis. Elvis had much rounder and softer features, a totally different nose and shape of face and different cheekbones. She also has the physical build of Priscilla (short and a bit stocky). It's tragic what happened to her son, Benjamin Storm Keough, who DID resemble Elvis more, although was helped a tiny bit with some plastic surgery on his nose. R.I.P.
Her voice may not be as great as her father's but it's still a decent voice in my opinion. I do understand where you're coming rom on the aspects of being forced into singing. Lisa's resemblance of her father to me is all in the smile. and Thank you i will be checking out the links you tagged.
I must declare...Jordan voice is irritating on back to black..Imho..She is very overrated
