VLOG-125 Kerala to Chennai during Sunday Curfew
Amid rising Covid-19 cases, the Tamil Nadu government has announced complete lockdown on Sundays, starting January 9.
We could find from news that during the Sunday Curfew inter-state and intra-state private and public transportation will be allowed following the Covid-19 safety guidelines. (www.indiatoday...)
So we have planned our car travel from Kerala to Tamilnadu on 9th January 2021 during the Sunday Curfew. As a first step we have applied for e-pass in eregister.tneg.... We have carried the print out of e-pass during our travel. We should also have to carry the vaccination certificate (in digital form or print out) when you travel. (You need to have RTPCR negative certificate for all the adult passengers incase you are not 2 dose vaccinated)
We have crossed the Kerala Tamilnadu boarder through Cumbam Mettu Check post.
In this video we are showing our travel from Kerala (Muvattupuzha , Ernakulam Djst) to Chennai through the scenic Ramakkalmedu - Cumbam mettu route. The route we took is Muvattupuzha - Neriamangalam - Adimali - Kallarkutty - Panikkankudi - Nedumkandam - Ramakkalmedu - Cumbam Mettu - Cumbam - Theni - Dindigul - Trichy - Samayapuram - Ulundurpet - Vandallur - Medavakkam.
Total Drive time excluding breaks = 12 Hrs
Total toll = Rs. 460/-.(Details given below)

Muvattupuzha to Cumbam Mettu : No Toll
Cumbam Mettu to Dindigul : No Toll
Dindigul to Trichy : Rs. 100/- (1 Toll)
Trichy to Ulundurpet : Rs. 100/- (2 Tolls: 45 + 55)
Ulundurpet to Chennai: Rs. 260/- (4 Tolls: 55 + 90 + 60 + 55)
