I have a little suggestion for mouse users to enable smoothing in the brush settings so that the lines you make look smoother, although that will make it a little less precise 😉

@@FernandoNunesIllustrator im primarily a traditional artist, but when im planning i like to use my iPad to do line art then print and ink it...i love the look of the irregular brushes
Fernando your work is beyond beautiful bro! is there a way to split up your lines so that you can have different color outlines other than drawing everything on a separate layer? For example if I want my hair to be brown and not keep my black outlines after I ink my drawing. Thanks!

Question when using the brush how do you fill the shape you create with the brush?
Thanks buddy! See 2:44 - Make sure all your line art is connected. Once you do, go to:
1 - Object > Expand Appearance.
2 - Select a any black shape from your line art
3 - Select Similar Objects > All
4 - Path Finder > Unite
5 - Create a bigger square shape with white fill no stroke
6 - Select the square, Right Click > Arrange > Send to Back
7 - Select All white and black shapes (Ctr+A)
8 - Pathfinder > Divide

i always watch your video, but why does divide doesn't work? after I unite and click all the layers?
Make sure you have turned all the strokes into shapes. Make sure everything is "connected" to each other.
Hi Fernando thanks for this tutorial..but I have a little difficulty following the part where you selected similar object then fill color which makes all the lines highlighted after which comes unite, but when I follow the exact step it just keeps highlighting just a certain part of the lineart only.....pls help..Thanks.

Mthokozisi Masiya I drew the skull in Illustrator with my Mouse too! Only the sketch was in a graphic tablet. The brushes work for both, for mousers and graphic tableters 😁

This maybe a stupid question. But how can I delete the parts of the square that are not the part of the illustration? I hope somebody can help, new learner here. Thank you so much.
It should let you delete anything by clicking on the part and pressing delete, as long as the layer isn’t locked.
So if I buy your brushes I can use them where I want to or they come with a licence and they are copyrighted?
