Nice job. The only suggestion I would have is that there was no reason to paint the inside of the cooler. If it made a difference, it was marginal at best

You are correct. If (or when) I do it again I will not paint the inside. I just thought a darker color would have been better.

Suggestion for future projects with foil pans... put foil over wood scrap before poking thru and it will keep foil from getting bent. Looks like a great project. You've made a mini solar oven.

Looks great...I hope it's working for you. can't do a lot of wax, but works well for me since I don't have a ton to process each year.

It does it's job. I mainly toss in the burr comb, broken combs, and the like. I can always render it in bulk later, but it is nice to get that first filter done! Thanks for watching, and for the idea!
