    HOW I REVIEW:
    As you might know from my „How I make a buying decision“ video: Rather than just looking at the pros, I like to evaluate the cons or flaws of an item and then evaluate if I can live with them. That is why in my video reviews I concentrate more on the cons of an item rather than going over all the features. Therefore everything shown is just a fraction of all the points that go into the verdict and score of an item.
    DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A QUICKLOOK AND A REVIEW:
    A Quicklook usually covers pre-production units or items that I only used for a short period of time. While Reviews cover final items that I have reviewed intensively.
    LINKS:
    For all my videos I decided not to include links for the products. Everyone is living in different countries and therefore has to deal with different shipping and customs fees. That is why I would advice everyone just to Google the product within their country to find the best deals.
    For instance: I live in Germany, It wouldn’t make sense to give you a German link while you might be living in USA or Asia. I hope that is understandable.
    FULL DISCLOSURE:
    This video is not sponsored. While I sometimes get bags for free, I usually have to pay custom fees and in addition to that all my videos have lots of production costs. Therefore I invest my own money into all of these video and have no intention to be biased towards a product or company. All opinions in this video are my own unless stated otherwise.

    Best every day pack I’ve found is the Arc’teryx Leaf courier 15.... it’s light weight, holds a ton, and very comfortable.

    Any chance you can get your hands on the speed backpack by Frenchie Co for a review? I haven't been able to find any reviews on this bag. Their quick access seems interesting but it's hard to see all the pockets and functionality from their videos and pictures online

    Modular ---- Excellent
    Materials and Embellishments ---- Check
    One Bag Travel - Suit Insert --- Excellent
    Prototype --- Final Product --- $$$$$$$$$$$
    Thanks for another excellent review. The bag is great for those of us who want a 1-bag travel solution
    Comments...
    1) Would you consider putting a caption or location note somewhere on the screen when walking or going places? You live in a beautiful area of the world and having a perspective of the area would be great for us travelers.
    2) Do you really not own a suit?
    3) What a beautiful and happy dog.......
    Continued Success

      Hey Anthony.
      To answer your questions.
      1) it is all mainly in Hamburg in the City area. But if I might Film somewhere else, I will put some captions in the video.
      2) yeah, I don't own a suit. Never had a reason to wear one 😂
      3) I will pass the compliment to her 😉 thanks

    Hey Bo,
    can you maybe help me with a recommendation for some bags? I'm going to study and travel in Australia, so I want to get a 50l backpack and a smaller daybag(preferably cheap) for university and smaller trips. Do you have any recomendations?

    • @Youknowthebo
      @Youknowthebo  Před 6 lety

      Hey Georg.
      50L backpack? I never used a backpack that big. The only bag that big that can be used as a backpack is my northface Basecamp duffel. I can recommend it quite a lot, but in backpack mode it is only comfortable for short distances (e. G. Airport to taxi etc)

    Sounds like a DMCA takedown notice is in order, Bo. Great video. Interesting. How secure are the fitlocks?

    • @Youknowthebo
      @Youknowthebo  Před 6 lety

      Already have done that on youtube and vimeo. Will explain it in the video ;-)
      The fidlocks are very secure. Sometimes even too secure.

  • @thatonespecialsnowflake5486

    could you also put in the camera module sideways? So that you can acces your camera from the side (without opening the entire clamshell)

    • @Youknowthebo
      @Youknowthebo  Před 6 lety

      Unfortunately you can't put it sideways, but you can actually roll up the top lid of the camera modules so that it stays open. Then you only need to open the top part of the main compartment and can get to your camera easily

    @bikecommuter24 Před 6 lety +1

    Good timing I'm uploading a video right now and my internet is really slow, so having one of your videos to watch is nice, 👍
    Video stealing is getting bad, A channel I follow called Digital Goja they are a store in Florida, someone stole their intro and put it on their channel.
    We spend all the time and effort to make unique content and someone lazy and dishonest steals it.
    And yea this does look like a nice piece of kit as my UK friends would say. Only the camera module is too small for me, that would fit one of my cameras I would need two of those modules but then I guess that is the point. I have a 22 Liter backpack I use for EDC (Dakine Campus Small) But I'm always looking for at new bags, I wish I could buy one and be done with it, don't even get me started on tank bags and tail bags for motorcycles, LOL last Saturday I took a trip to a Car & Motorcycle Show I looked like a mess, I had a tank bag on the bike with motorcycle stuff in it my tire repair kit, extra water a jacket, snacks and on my fender was my tripod and a monopod with feet and I'm wearing my fully loaded Camera backpack.
    LOL talk about irony I just got a copyright notice on my video that just uploaded, My video got blocked due to someone music on my video, I did not do it deliberately it was the music playing on the sound system.

    • @Youknowthebo
      @Youknowthebo  Před 6 lety

      Speaking of having just one bag for everything, this could be it. But I'm not sure if this would be the best on a bike unfortunately. It would probably attract lots of dust on the bike.
      CZcams's algorithm does pick up music very fast, even if it is in the background coming through a radio or PA unfortunately

    • @bikecommuter24
      @bikecommuter24 Před 6 lety

      That is exactly what happened, it was music playing over the PA system, I have no problem if they want to block it or have me take it out, I usually have plenty of content I can use.
      I think slide shows are what may be my "thing" although video is important too, maybe a few times lapses and panoramas here and there.
      but I like the content to mean something not just because it looks cool so to speak.
      I don't see myself going back to iMovie, Adobe PR seems to be growing on me, its a learning curve, butI I've spent time watching the tutorials I even learned a better way to handle my stills and here I thought I knew that part at least LOL.
      I would probably apply one of those stain resistant-waterproof sprays. I tired a product called scotch guard on a cheap backpack I bought and it repelled rain and cat hair for a bit.
      I was looking at the video you did on the VeloMacchi that might be my Motorcycle bag, I was checking out the tool pouch that is made to go with it.

    • @Youknowthebo
      @Youknowthebo  Před 6 lety

      Adobe Premiere is a good way to go. Even if it is just the elements Version. And always go with what ever you enjoy. If it is slideshows then go with that. Maybe add some voice over to add a narrative.
      Velomacchi is also pretty awesome for the bike. I can highly recommend it. Just be aware that it is pretty stiff. That is good for riding but it might obstruct you when packing bigger and non flexible items

    • @bikecommuter24
      @bikecommuter24 Před 6 lety

      I would have no problem with that, there are times I just to bring a laptop and a few other items, I will probably always have a separate dedicated bag for my photo stuff, I just have too much.

    Wouldn't the magnets potentially be harmful to hard drives?

    • @Youknowthebo
      @Youknowthebo  Před 6 lety

      Good question. The magnets aren't that strong and have some distance to a harddrive (if packed inside). I would assume that a harddrive should be fine

    This bag is not my cut of tea... but good video anyway !! The review is pretty consitant for a quicklook, good !
    Just a bit bad for the intro... too shaking :/

    • @Youknowthebo
      @Youknowthebo  Před 6 lety +1

      Thanks, mate. Yeah, the shaking annoys me as well, but I am still not comfortable talking in front of the camera in public. All the shots where in the shopping district of Hamburg, so it was fairly crowded and I was rushing it haha. I will try to improve this.

    • @hgchcxdxx
      @hgchcxdxx Před 6 lety

      Bo Ismono I couldn't talk to a camera with other people around so I understand how hard it must be ! 😂
      But don't up this kind of intro, it's really cool ! :)

  • @kidbach
    @kidbach Před 6 lety

    i like the SAK versatility and customization of the bag, if only in the production run they made it to stand up. your segue game is most epic. claiming somebody else's work as your own is a major ethics violation.

    • @Youknowthebo
      @Youknowthebo  Před 6 lety +1

    • @Youknowthebo
      @Youknowthebo  Před 6 lety

      The inner lining is black on the fidlock side, but the other side is light grey. Also the inside of most of the modules is also light grey. You can find stuff pretty well.
