Dolph Ziggler's heel turn had no plan, he was just there to put over talent and he didn't care. They offered him enough where he didn't mind the booking. What did you tthink of Dolph Ziggler's heel turn?
It was alright
2017 may have been bad for Dolph but in 2018, him and Drew were a really good duo

2017 Ziggler reminded me a whole lot of 2005 Christian. Now and then getting thrown into big title matches and Ladder matches as utility players. But most of the time just being booked to lose and lose

@ARod3 yeah he won the title at clash of champions then vacated it for no reason at smackdown then he never went after it after that and never mentioned it again

Dolph is literally a walking example of a lot of us of how we deserve better but because things are going smoothly we just stick around

He’s the prime example of the saying “how can we miss you if you don’t go away?”. Cody and Drew are examples of the opposite and have had a hell of resurgence.
Terrible examples Cody been over Vince finally realized that. And drew came back completely different new body new confidence
Disagree. 2014 was perfect to push a lot of guys including him. But because both vince/triple h had visions of reigns and rollins as well as cena,they dropped the ball on ziggler,luke harper,cody rhodes initial run,wade barrett,rusev,cesaro,etc. No need to leave when everything theyre doing is whats needed to be considered a star or for a push

@@HurrikaneBEA5T I don’t disagree with you but it’s been almost ten years since then. He could’ve gone somewhere else and returned with more of a character. He understands character too he does improv, stand up comedy, and has done theatre too. I’m saying if he would’ve been off wwe tv for 2-3 years he would’ve had a different trajectory. Man, 2016 Ziggler was peak. 2017 killed every bit of momentum he had, there was really no chance of recovery honestly.
And why did they do this? No reason whatsoever, No Mercy 2016 IC Title win could’ve easily been the big push. How do you win the mid card championship and have more momentum than the WHC? I feel bad for Mr. Nemeth, in my honest opinion his (WWE) career was underlooked and under appreciated.
I always felt Ziggler could’ve really benefited leaving around 2015-2016 and reinventing himself elsewhere and then coming back to WWE like how Cody, McIntyre and Christian did.
That he still had a very good career, and a career many wrestlers would kill for.
One of the biggest "what if" guy in this business. Every time he got any kind of title his reigns were short or forgettable, seems like Vince didn't like him at all
Him losing the IC title right back to Miz after that great feud was the nail in the coffin. That was the “nothing’s ever gonna happen with this guy” moment for fans.
Bizarre year in general. Never was a fan of dolph but he honestly deserves better
That Kings Court Segment was some great heel work from Ziggler and great segment overall
His deeper voice tone as opposed to Ziggler’s usual high pitched and loud voice tone, taking credit for The King’s heart attack and then attacking King with a super kick
Oh and JBL tripping when trying to run into the ring 😂😂😂
He should of had at least 1 good world title run

2018 would’ve been the perfect year for Dolph to become a top guy. If booked right he could’ve became WWE Champion and top guy on Smackdown but that royal rumble entry was so lackluster and no one cared. What a shame so much wasted potential.

@@jamalwalker nah cena fans and 09 orton fans overrate tf out of it because they both won a bunch of world titles. They never had that classic match the segments never clicked because cena was on full goof mode. 07 was the best of their long feud but that got cut short

Dolph Ziggler character was especially bizarre in 2017 to 2019 where he became this really self aware character who was this ineffectual heel who was constantly whining about how "It should've been me!" in his promos and just upset over the fact that his career didn't turn out the way he wanted it to and it just felt like creative and Vince were breaking the 4th wall with how terribly they've booked Dolph and misused him over the years...
I love this guy he’s extremely talented and brilliant in the ring. He was involved in one of the greatest cash ins I’ve witnessed it’s sad now that he’s just a jobber he deserves better in my opinion.
Dolph is one of the WWE's biggest what ifs... This mans career was most definitely going to go down in the history books as a decorated grand slam champion and one of the greatest in ring performers of all time if creative just did the right job with him

After Jeff Hardy left WWE in 2009, I was looking for a new superstar to get behind. In 2012, that guy became Dolph Ziggler, when he used to cut promos back in the day, you used to believe that he really wanted to break out and be a top guy but in the long run, everything he said turned out to be bullshit.
