JD Amato is certainly the true villain.
Also, I've gotta say LLC KILLED it this episode! Mal and Random Maxine are both very welcome additions to the show
It's Random Melissa. Not hating, just saying for fact checkers of the future. To the main point of this comment, though, the LLC was phenomenal this episode, what an intro. What if Mikey and Bill had been there? There's only so much that a universe can take.

JD Amato is the true villian, Messenger Bag is just a hapless hero who keeps getting into sticky situations. Also, I loved this one, it's the first one I saw live and it felt like it was a classic older episode, 10/10
So bummed out about this messenger bag situation.
Great episode, exactly the kind of follow up last episode needed. Watching this kind of episode after listening to Chris's amazing Mental Illness Happy Hour episode is really something. "This feels bad!"

Messenger Bag is the everyman of the show.

Too lazy to look it up right now, but there's a moment in the interview where he impersonates his father and uses the Calstead voice.
I think Chris is playing a character here, being the heel to take the heat off of RMB. Or maybe a nervous breakdown. Somewhere in there. The phone magic trick is the best idea ever, regardless.
I literally can’t understand half of the calls, was there a reason they weren’t clear this episode? Was Jersey Dave absent?

Sometimes, Chris becomes too much of a buzzkill. Happens way too much in this episode. Specially during the phone magic trick.

Chris hasn't been this obnoxious since episode 5.
I like how Chris claims that he is influenced by Andy Kaufman and puts on a show where he wants callers to produce ideas he yet can't appreciate the beauty that is an excruciatingly long card trick performed via the phone by the man with the longest tongue in America.
Chris is a cool guy but he is so lucky that he is surrounded by people who are more entertaining than him.
Can you point out to me when Andy Kaufman let someone else troll him without him asking? Or did he just do his own bit and fuck with other people?
