  • Nintendo bundled the original GBA Wireless Adapter with Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green in the mid-2000s.
Surprisingly, they went through the hassle of developing a wireless adapter for the Gameboy Micro but was only available to purchase through Nintendo's website at the time.

Actually these could be ordered directly from Nintendo in the US and the US models are extremely rare.

Great video! I didn't know any wireless functions were real-time.

Oh yes, wireless adapters are real time. There are about 40-50 games that support the GBA wireless adapter. I was thinking about making a video that goes through each one... but that would take a good chunk of time. Maybe one day. And thanks again, this video would not have happened without your support.

Thanks for watching and the comment.
I have tons of linking Gameboy/Gamecube/NGPC stuff here on my channel if you wanted to see more obscure stuff like this.

I still remember you from that wonderful introduction to Heroes of Might and Magic II on GBC. Since then I easily poured >1000 hours into these 2 games. There is one real-time rpg masterpiece (Skyrim clone) on GBC called Towers: Lord Baniff's Deceit, and its leaked sequel Towers II (available only via torrents, since it was never published).

Wait. So you saw my Heroes of M&M GBC streams, and because of that, you played 1,000 hours of Heroes I and II on GBC? I was hoping that more people would play and acknowledge those games but never thought anyone would play that much!
Yes, I am aware of Towers: Lord Baniff's Deceit and need to spend time with it one day. I think it has a 2player co-op link cable mode too.

Nice. Yeah, I think there is still a fan base for the wireless adapters.
