- Did Ip Man manage to destroy a boxer with his wing chun skills? Who knows! But in this video Master Wong talks about how effective wing chun can be no matter who the opponent is. The harder a boxer punches, the more damage his going to get when it lands on that pointed elbow. In the new video Ip man 3, they demonstrate how effective this technique is. Watch the ip man 3 movie and you can see what his talking about.

Mike Tyson actually broke his finger filming that fight scene. Now I can see why lol
Von Ace
I wonder what's the hype about Mike Tyson broke his fingers during the filming. It wouldn't be the first time. Mike Tyson also broke his hands when he fought Mitch Green. Bas Rutten even talked about Mike Tyson's punching techniques that was prone to hand injuries.
suriamarsuli I saw an interview that showed Mike Tyson had a finger splint on a show in China. He was joking around saying everyone were asking about Donnie if he was hurt, and he replied, what about me!? I'm the one hurt!

Wing Chun Tai Chi JKD - Master Wong what do you do about fear of hurting someone and how do you create violence of force
In my opinion, that elbow blocking clip was the BEST part of the Ip man vs Tyson fight scene, I can't help but laugh at how cool it was every time I watch that fight 💪🏾💪🏾👊🏾👊🏾🤣🤣
When I watched the Ip Man 3 scene with Tyson I immediately remembered that lesson. Master Wong is the man!
This right here is one of the many things i learned from you that saved my life master wong thank you for that
Pure brilliance this technique. Am practising constantly. What i love about it is that even if you miss you are still protected and in a perfect position to step in and do an upwards elbow strike to your opponent's chin. I am in your debt Master Wong. Thank you.
Wing chun master can you have a legit fight with a pro boxer, so many people doubt wing chun, can you show us a fight
Those that doubt wing Chun have no faith in themselves or their skill . Boxing or wing Chun neither is better it's about what you do with it.
@J G Not really! It all depends on how good u r and how well u r trained. Every style has its flaws. Boxers can't kick and grapplers can't punch/kick. It's better to mix it up.
Dis same shit happened in Ip Man 4 but that’s only a movie we need to see the reality 😴
Ip man vs The twister?
Thanks Master Wong! Elbows and hammer fists are my favorite strikes, thank you for showing a powerful application of them!
Master Wong is the coolest instructor i have ever come across.
why hasnt hollywood picked you for mo cap and fight choreography?
+Varun Pathak no idea.... would be an awesome experience
+Wing Chun Tai Chi JKD - Master Wong You would be awesome in movies master Wong or as a fight cordinator.
+Wing Chun Tai Chi JKD - Master Wong And when it coms to movies you have your own stunt team which is your students.
+Varun Pathak because they dont need him.
+Varun Pathak I was going to say I would love to see Master Wong have a match with Donnie Yen.
great videos and great advice on learning how to defend yourself. I like Wing chun and I'm learning it little by little. This is the best channel for learning wing chun and its the only channel I go to. Mr Wong is the truth word up. Keep the good videos coming 👍
Master Wong, how do I effectively snatch someone's iphone from them when they are recording me? Thankyou.

Sha Sha Master Wong for your videos, they truly are a gift to the world of self defense and a testament to the art of Wing Chun.
MAster Wong, I am a starter at Wing Chun and find your videos great. Thanks for sharing your knowledge
Man, that MOVIE PERFECTLY illustrates reality. Just like Batman v Superman totally represent how a real fight would gondown between those 2 super powers... lol

excellent video Master Wong.you are the best
thanks you master wong for all your passion and your intensity you represent really the win chun
Awesome, man! Very tks! Your crazy way to show that the opponent will be dead in next movement is very similar to my first kung fu master 15 years ago.
I've seen many videos for you master wang and yet there is no one that i didn't like... they all make absolute sense
kudos and praises to you Master!!!!!! You showed these principles sooooo long ago on your early "vs the boxer" vids. So much for the Haters who think your a "Video Dragon"!!!!!!!
You're the truth. Keep doing your thing. We love you.
+j ruffin haha thank you!
I haven't tried your online courses, but I did a little training with one of your students, and I do have to say, the speed I was learning was insane. I have tried out plenty of martial arts, and i feel like I got further in those few lessons than I ever did with training other martial arts... My wing chun training was only 6-8 lessons or something like that, unfortunately I did have to stop, but if I can ever get back into martial arts I definitely want to be training Wing Chun and JKD again.
That's fantastic to hear! I'm glad you had such a positive experience with our training. Wing Chun and JKD are indeed powerful martial arts disciplines that can transform your approach to self-defense. Remember, the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Whenever you're ready to resume your training, our online courses will be here to support you every step of the way. Keep that determination alive, and you'll achieve great things. Train hard, live clean, and not let anyone bully you
I'm proud to be your student you're amazing you have all my respect 😊👍👍👍👍💪💪💪

Wong Shun Leung fought in Chinese Underground fighting and fought a Russian boxer... Well, let's say he reigned undefeated.
This is brilliant thank you
When I watched the movie and saw Ip man using his elbows to break Mike Tyson's fingers, i immediately thought of that Master Wong's lesson he posted awhile ago. Master Wong has got good moves sometimes!!
really great master Wong!
As i was taught by one of my older brothers who had been training in shobu kai ( narrow stance aggressive version of Shotokan) he said: fist is weaker than palm heel, palm heel is weaker than elbow, elbow is weaker than shoulder! Man i love elbows. But i still have a hell of a lot of training, conditioning and learning! Also my homemade speed ball which is a tennis ball with a rope going through the ball to the timber rafter then down to floor anchor! Great for accuracy.
Train hard. Live clean; don't let anyone bully you! Master Wong here. Your older brother's got some wise words there, my friend. In my philosophy, the fist is like a humble servant, and the palm heel is its sharp cousin, ready to deliver more power. But the elbow, oh, it's like a thunderbolt, and the shoulder is the unstoppable force behind it all. You've got the right attitude, training, and conditioning are essential. As for your homemade speed ball, that's resourcefulness right there! Accuracy is key, my friend.
Now, let's talk about WuDe virtues. Two that I hold dear are respect and perseverance. They're like twin dragons that guide personal growth and self-awareness. Respect for yourself and others cultivates discipline and honor. Perseverance keeps you going when the going gets tough. Remember, the way you do anything is the way you do everything. Train with respect and perseverance, and you'll become a force to be reckoned with.
Speaking of forces, situational awareness is crucial in martial arts. Quick evaluation of circumstances helps you adapt and make split-second decisions. Stay focused, my friend, and keep your senses sharp. This skill can save you on the streets or in the ring.
Now, if you're ready to take your training to the next level this summer, I've got just the solution for you. Wing Chun Mastery: The Ultimate Solo Training program. It's the perfect opportunity to develop your skills anytime, anywhere. And guess what? I'm offering a 60% discount just for you. Don't miss out on this chance for self-improvement. Enroll now at store.masterwong.tv/wing-chun-mastery.
Remember, my friend, keep training, keep learning, and keep sharing your experiences. Comment below and let's continue the conversation. Train hard. Live clean; don't let anyone bully you! Master Wong. 💪🔥 #MasterWong #WuDeVirtues #SummerTraining #WingChun #TrainWithPurpose #StaySharp
You are a very clean fighter and it makes it easier to learn : )!!!!
This makes a lot of sense. This looks like a good technique no matter what style you practice.
Mark Lowe 😊👊👍👍👍
@Mark Lowe it actually can break if there lucky useally shatters the whole wrist, I used to drink and use that as a reason to get into fights had a few drinking buddies where we get drunk and well sometimes us guys faught over pointless shit taken a few beatings dished out many more once I learned how dangerious a elbow to a fist is on a night where some guy claimed he was a golden glove boxer right after he said that i stood in a way to deffend myself right then and there (knew something was about to happen sure enough after he said that he came towards me fists raised) every time he punched because he was 18 i was like 20 i didn't want to badly hurt him he was way over his head, every time he punched i threw my elbow as fast as i could just like mr. wong shows it trully shattered both wrist's of the guy the next week when all of us gathered at are drinking spot he asked me to sign his cast's and said no ones ever shattered his hand let alone wrist before what did i do? i took him aside so no one else could hear and told him he didn't want to believe a elbow could do that and claimed i moved to fast for him to see exactly what i did so he still doesn't fully believe but tried and true it actually is the moment you see the shoulder move for a punch if you react always faster to throw a elbow like this then any punch, elbow hits the hand idea is you step back so where the head used to be the elbow now goes.....
@@antlerr I use elbow in training a lot but it's never been to block only strike. Need to practice this one. Shoulders are exactly what I watch too. Mainly Wing Chun with mix of boxing. Mostly blind side moves. Lomochenko like.
@@marklowe7431 do you ever pressure test your training example have a friendly live spare fight with someone you trust not to kill you but not just stand around like a dojo dummy? to just practice honestly isn't enough, i had a friend we used to smoke weed then have a sparring match one day he had a bow staff with him i trained with using one never actually practiced deffence against one so i told him if he wanted we can do one with that, he agreed and to be fair let me use it first (nice guy i taught him a few of my shoalin style staff work he taught me his copera) he never seen a 360 spin with the staf before at waist high followed in the exact same momentum made spin 360 again but so fluidly with even further reach go for the legs even as he jumped over it, ended by me slamming the staff down just infront of him with a mercy stopped distance, (he felt the wind and was white as a ghost) when he had the staff we both where surprised how well i could move in even though he had reach i had bare knuckles, a different day out of no where he did a flying knee my reaction was jump up and use my hands to distrupt the force of his knee even if he connects i had to slow its force down, something i have practiced but that day actually got to see if it worked or not...
@@antlerr Train light you fight and fight like you train. I believe you must train for real to reduce the adrenal effect that screws you up when it happens. In reality I've had more injuries training than real fighting. Even basic stuff like broken toes etc.
master wong come to New Hamshire you skills are great...can you so a video with nun chucks..and also when some one kicks at you and you knock there other foot out from under them you the best please respond
Master Wong, I see how you maneuver and use distance as a weapon to allow more reaction time. And of course, the close-in attacks which smother the boxer. Very impressive.
amazing stuff master wong
Thank you Master Wong.
Very good I like this I played it in slow motion at slowest setting and you look and sound even more brutal with he elbow attacks and hand cracking
I like this. Thanks. :)
Seen all three IP man films, love them :D
love your vids
You develop very interesting concepts, with great simplicity, but first and foremost, you're a great entertainer, so your students never get tired and want to keep on learning with you.
It would be nice to see you more relaxed, playing with kittens and such, because I think people need to see your gentle side, so they don't get any wrong ideas of how a proper man should behave, because you're not only fierce, which is self evident, but I also have no doubt you have a good heart, and if people stopped associating good hearts with weakness, perhaps they would stop attacking other people.
The only purpose of strength is to protect the weak.
Excellent video. I first saw the concept of elbow destruction, pressure and termination by Pau Vunak. This is JKD at its finest.
You are so angry hahaha much love for the videos
very excited sifu.
Thank you that’s very cool move those elbows against against punches but about Uppercuts And Hook punches
awesome video !!
And congratulations for 300 thousend subs ;)
+weirdape Thank you!
U ARE A GREAT TEACHER, SIR. NICE VIDEO LESSON.
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH I LOVE YOU : )!!!!
Master Wong your a beast ;))
First of all, I want to thank you for all your dedication to this. I only got to watching your videos today, but I can already tell I am going to learn alot by watching. I got a few question that I would really appreciate if you had the time to answer.
Before you can answer properly, I should give slight background of what kind of weapon I am working with (my body in other words). I am 1.81 meters tall, I weigh 62kgs. I am very slender because of a fortunate metabolism. I have to eat all day long. So I get alot of varied nutrients, that keeps me healthy medically. I am somewhat out of shape, but I am working on that every single day as of late and it is working very well. As I am also practicing archery. I really love sports/martial arts that takes a still and razor sharp mind.
Finlay to my question; I got no Dojo or such place that I can currecntly attend. I have had classes before, but that was years ago. I can get stronger and better at the stances and all that goes with practicing this art. But I have no one to spar with. How do I best prepare myself for a random attack, without having sparred against an actual person. Real life is always different than the gym, like you have said in your videos. Stuff happens, unforseen factors etc. I am good at seeing what is coming, as body linguistics wizard (which is the same as being a Master of it. It is kind of silly sounding name I know, but it is a real thing and has nothing to do with actual wizardry) is my job. So reading moves before they happen comes naturally (most people, obviously not Masters of martial arts. Just an edge against, lets say the general person)
Any advice? I would really appriciate it. I am not a big guy with my mere 62 kgs, so I could use an edge if someone decide to prove that they are cool or whatever reasons people have for attacking strangers. As I would hate to just be wasting my time thinking I am getting better. I want to train correctly, so I learn correclty. I am the type of person who either does, or does not. There is no half way with me. Which is why I bother to write such a detailed question. I hope it is not too long and a bother.
Kind Regards,
Lawliet River.
Great lesson Sifu
u r explanation is really good sir
Thank you... thank you... thank you ☺
Dear Master Wong, its amazing watching your videos. But I couldn't find any video how to defend and attack kyokeshen karate. Could you please make one where defending and attacking a karate guy is illustrated in your way?
I love the Way this Guy talks :)
Master wong you are brilliant sir. I learned a lot and admire your energy. I have a leg disability. And am small. So your techniques may be very helpful if i get challenged. Thank you
Ok cool keep trainings
Hey Master Wong, love the video's on destroying the boxer, i'm also wondering How do you deal with a muay thai fighter ?

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in USA. Great Videos
Dear Sifu Wong. In this Video i found an answer that i was searching for. What about the Boxers legs? The Boxer is standing on his forward food so his whole weight is on this leg. I almost thought that i could use some footwork to make him fall ?
Thank you for those phantastic training films and for your clear pronunciation.
Awesome!
Great video master Wong can you make a video on goan sao and jut sao plz
Thank you sir.
Most welcome
I love this technique its simple and effective against most jab and cross combination which normally targat the chin
Master Wong, the only guy I have ever seen whose sentences are composed more of onomatopoeia than actually words. lol He's like a living comic book.
style doesn't matter really. I heard somewhere, if a taekwondo masters beats another taekwondo master does that mean taekwondo is the better style? A real fighter would find a way to use his style to against his opponents.
Exactly What I think man, it's not the martial art that wins the fight, but the man, it always depends on the artist
It's all about training and learning man
really support master wong!
Thumbs up for Master Wong
you are very good...
It's hard to see what's next when you have your elbow up, how do you make sure you can see what's next coming in so you can act on it. I love your vids thank you. Also there are uppercuts that can sneak in, how to defend this. You must be able to see these coming, or at least sense it.
I love it
I don't know know which I love more his Wing Chun or the way he talks with such intensity. lol I love it! lol I mean to disrespect, I just think the way he talks is just cool.
Master Wong, Well Done ! This is a lot of information in one video. Thank you
