Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba | Divine Visit to East Africa | June 1968

"I have a task that I love...to remove the suffering of the poor and grant them what they lack," declared our most beloved Lord decades ago. In this Divine mission of His, Swami traveled to those places which had seemed till then God-forsaken...that is until God Himself sanctified those very lands with the touch of His Lotus Feet! The countries of Kenya and Uganda in Africa were two such places blessed to enjoy His Divine Proximity way back in June 1968. Swami spent over a month in this scenic and beautiful continent, blessing all the needy and downtrodden children of His who could have never thought of traveling all the way to Prasanthi Nilayam. For does not Swami always say, "Those who need Me, deserve me!"? In this video, Swami is seen granting darshan, delivering discourses, enjoying a helicopter and boat ride through the Sahara desert, and even celebrating Gurupoornima with a jam packed crowd of devotees thirsting for His darshan. Attempts have been made to enhance the sharpness of this video, although the persisting poor quality is regretted. The radiance of His form shall hopefully more than suffice the camera deficits!
