The referees need to start approaching these games as competitive fixtures and using cards more often. Instances like Sam Adams foul when he was last man shouldn't have gone unpunished as it sets a precedent that that kind of foul will just be accepted and therefore players are more likely to commit these fouls more regularly. If a player gets given a yellow card card however it can completely change the way that they approach the rest of the game. Nobody wants to see players sent off but it's needs to be seen as a option.

Mongolian Horses FC I agree mate. For the record the ref showed a few yellow cards in this game. Club NI got a few for dissent. I agree Sam got lucky but by the letter of the law the foul on me in the second half is a straight red. Studs showing and landed straight on my thigh. My leg is still yellow!
yeah that was a horrible tackle, and I know a lot of people say "its sunday league etc..." but that doesn't mean that the letter of the law changes purely because it is not a professional fixture. Especially for a team in your position with your exposure, a lot of teams come to play you wanting to try and intimidate your players and leave a foot in where they can, seen a fair few on Ryan Adams and yourself now. If that kind of thing goes unpunished then it will only happen more regularly and it leaves the door open for your players to retaliate as they feel like there's been no justice for the initial incident

Second goal was lovely. Nice to see Hashtag playing some football in the final third, think Theo helps them by being another genuine winger. Better use of width, and not as much long ball stuff, really improving as a team.

Also playing in the actual Sunday League would require them to be available abit more and as far as I have learned about Spencers and Alex schedules. It's good they are not bound by a day of the week.
The Young Federalist it is as easy as possible they are guaranteed to win 'division 1' eventually as they can choose who they play and when and they are the only team that can win anything in the competition

Dundalk would hammer Hashtag, even the likes of Bray or UCC would batter them too. They should play some MSL or LSL teams though, they'd be more on their level, however I think the likes of Avondale would be far too good for them too.

Any team would be screwed if they did not have their best players, we can't all be at the same level. If they did not have good players this series would of ended a long time ago. So pretty sure they are not lucky at all, they work hard to be a team and 'recruit' good players.
