Nice job! The colour is pretty close to Oxford Blue (original Ford colour), it was popular on Fords here in Australia as well from '79-'82. My family had an Oxford Blue '80 Ford Falcon when I was a kid.
Bonus fact: the '79-'81 Falcon was basically a slightly restyled Mk 2 Granada only we had the American inline 6 up to 4.1 litres (also available in Aussie Cortinas and Transits) and V8 engines in ours up to 5.8 litres, there were also extended wheelbase Fairlane and LTD models based on the same body style as well.

You should've filed away the front number plate section as Matchbox did it completely wrong back when they designed and produced the casting. It's something I've always planned to do on one of these but I've either turned them into banger racing models or sold them on as I'm a diecast dealer lol.
Another thing would be to paint the front and rear valance the same colour as the body

I enjoyed that vid m8, only thing I would suggest and please don't take it anything else but a suggestion is the rad grille would have been black plastic and the rear light lens would have had amber between the two red bars, the bumpers were chrome but had a black rubber finisher and the front underspoiler would have been same as the body colour as would the rear area under the bumper. Carousel and Crusader's were two tone and there was also a rareish two tone of that blue and silver think the scheme was called by Ford UK "Sapphire" before the Sierra was ever to bear that name lol Ford did try out some of the Crusader schemes on the MK2 Granny but they looked proper wrong 'uns.

This is one of the more memorable cars from my childhood collection. I always hated the fact that the tow hooks were always the wrong color (understand the reason why though) which usually lead me to remove them, and then regret it later when I had nothing to tow campers with. Great color choice for this customization though.
