- The “Why”
Within the photographic world, there is an abundance of cliques and groups that rather than help each other grow, tend to bring people down whether on the merits of skill or concept.
Art is subjective.
Everyone’s journey is different and the reasoning to create art shouldn’t be vilified. If photographers are experiencing this, then I am certain artists in other mediums are as well. My goal is to talk to different artists to learn about their own journeys which include challenges and successes; all with the hopes that you get some value from their experiences.
The “Who”
This program is for those artists that feel like they struggle in the “dog eat dog” environment that is the arts. A great example would be photographers, which there are many of us, and how many of them don’t see competition as a good thing. Instead, they would rather bring someone down to elevate themselves. It is when we come together and help one another that we can see one another succeed. Whether that is through shared experiences, lessons learned, or just impromptu tips; when we help one another, it can only lead to positive results. If you are a solo artist in this over saturated market, I hope that you get some value from other artists. Many of them are successful today and I’m sure that success is preceded by a lot of trials and tribulations. No one said the journey is easy; it can be more enjoyable if those you come across it are there extending a helping hand.
I originally came to your channel for the Ric Lewis interview, but I’m staying for this message!

The ultimate goal being that my guests have a safe space to express how they feel without judgement. Their voice to be heard.
