HH has never taken vocal lessons that would shape his current vocalization. He said once that he took classical vocal lessons for a very short period (even this itself was not from MG) after PS2, but he ended up with a vocal range that was 3 notes lower than his usual singing range. He stopped doing it because he thought it was not for him. It is his unique vocal skills that he has developed and advanced throughout his musical career since he started music in a band. Now he is a singer-songwriter as well as a vocal director/ producer in the Forestella. Last December Forestella released an original song written by HH. Recently, Forestella fandom expansion has been accelerating and I hope new fans can enjoy a healthy fandom formed based on facts not on personal opinion/manipulated information.

강형호는 녹음실 엔지니어들에게 기계다루는 법을 배우면서 음악 만드는 요령을 터득했답니다.
포레결성 초반에 성악을 배우다가 음정이 3개나 떨어지고 목소리를 잃어서 새로 자신의 방식대로 발성하게 되었습니다.
그래서 성악기반 카운터테너와 소리가 미묘하게 다릅니다.
형호님이 비프레콘서트에서 자신의 발성에 대해서 말하셨는데 포레 결성 초반에 성악을 배우다가 음정이 세단계나 떨어져서 목소리를 잃어서 그냥 자기식대로 부르기로 했다고 합니다.
작곡은 음악녹음 엔지니어분들에게 기계 다루는 법 하나하나 물어보면서 음악을 어떻게 만드는지 배웠다고 합니다.

Hyeong-ho and Doo-hoon have never received guidance from Min-gyu.
In the behind-the-scenes video, Doo-Hoon revealed that he has never learned vocals from a vocalist (classical singer) and that he is self-taught.
In the early days of his debut, Hyeong-ho tried to learn vocalization from a classical singer (not Min-gyu, a completely different vocalist), but instead he felt that his own vocalization and pitch were changing.
So he quickly stopped learning, and his current vocalization is his own, which he learned on his own.
His soprano vocalization is completely different from that of a countertenor, and he is not called a countertenor because he is not an opera singer.
His identity is rock, and he is the frontman of the rock group PITTA and a vocal director and producer member of Forestella. He is a singer-songwriter and a rock singer.

Y lo que es peor, medir talentos. Cosa que me parece que choca con el maravilloso espíritu de hermandad de estos 4 cantantes.
Cada uno es especial. Ocupa el rol que se fijaron entre ellos.
No es fácil amalgamar 4 personalidades tan diferentes y únicas. Dejar de lado egos para lograr una unidad de equipo.
Tanto trabajo debe ser respetado y los fans debemos darnos a la hermosa y relajante tarea de disfrutar sus canciones e interpretaciones, felicitarlos, apoyarlos y estimularlos a seguir creciendo. Porque creo fervientemente que no tienen techo.
Respecto de los fans extranjeros, tal vez la explicación de la confusión acerca de cómo aprendió Hyungho tiene mucho que ver con que muchos de los videos no tienen subtítulos. O si los hay, no son perfectamente entendibles. Los traductores automáticos no son exactos y con sólo un par de palabras mal traducidas, la frase cambia de sentido.
Y entonces se malinterpreta la información.
Espero que tu aclaración llegue a la mayor cantidad de fan posible. Así no se habla de más ni se difunden datos erróneos.

트레피톤에서 포레스트로 넘어갈 때, 조민규가 강형호를 선택 못한 게 아니라 안한 거라고 우기는 사람 많던데 그 때 트레피톤은 이미 성악가 두 명, 뮤지컬 배우 한 명으로 기본 뼈대는 갖추어진 상태였음. 성악가로서 자기 목소리가 가진 한계를 알고 일찌감치 크로스 오버에 눈을 돌린 조민규였다면, 네 번 째 멤버는 팀의 확장성에 힘을 실어 즐 수 있는 - 저 두 그룹 어느 쪽에도 속하지 않는 - 사람이어야 하고 당시 이 조건을 정확하게 충족하는 싱어가 강형호와 시메 코스타 둘이었는데 지목권이 앞 순위 팀에 밀려 기다리는 사이 강형호가 먼저 라일락에 합류했으니 시메가 유일했던 거임.
