The PORTHCAWL trip didn't go well

- We go to Porthcawl today. It's my daughter's first day out of isolation after catching the Coronavirus so we planned to take her for a very low energy stroll along the seafront/esplanade and beach at Porthcawl. We also have a bit of lunch out. We make it as far as Coney Beach funfair. We have a very pleasant sit and coffee/icecream at a cafe at Porthcawl Marina.
On the way we witness a bizarre incident involving a motorbike driving up the motorway in the wrong direction along the hard shoulder!! The police are involved.

I'm Imo and she's Izzy. We're a UK mother and daughter vlogging combo that loves to get out and about and exploring South Wales and beyond.
We're a formerly homeschooling/home-educating family of two based in the UK dealing with the daily challenges of managing Izzy's severe, chronic eczema and her education. Oh hello Cajun Chris! I’m double jabbed now too. I just passed the 3 weeks passed the 2nd jab so that’s good. I was exactly 2 weeks post when Izzy got the dreaded Covid, but I still managed not to get it. I’m really hoping to get gigging soon. Nice to hear from you. 😊

Oh my! Ha ha! I know a family who live on a yacht full time and love it. Their website is ‘talking rowlocks’ or how ever it’s spelt. They do have their stresses though, keeping their home maintained and seaworthy. They still have to live in it when it’s hauled up on land for maintenance which they say is a somewhat different experience. I hope you’re keeping well, David. 😃

It was wonderful to see Porthcawl. I a delightful video with. Although Izzy is doing much better my heart goes out to her. Recovery takes time and she probably feels impatient. Every day she will get better and this experience will be a fading memory.

We get wrong way cars on the highway also... and the police lay the spike belts in an attempt to stop the car. Sadly, in just these past several months, we've had 2 innocent people die in a wreck due to a vehicle driving down the wrong way.

Hello again... nice to see you. Your poor antique typewriter on it's face on the cement floor. I have a 3 legged table like yours.. and one night we heard a crash... and there it was.. one leg broken off laying to the side, and my salt lamp was laying on the floor. Thankfully the salt is so thick that nothing happened to it.. but after gluing the leg back onto the table, the only thing that goes on there now is a plant. Guess these old tables get weak over time and just can't hold much weight.

Porthcawl looks lovely, never been there sorry that Izzy is so tired, covid can take a lot out of you. Hope your typewriter isn't too badly damaged, we had one at home which I used to practice onwhen I was at Commercial College, it was good fun. Take care.x

Was your daughter vaccinated?
No!! I tried and tried to get her done as she’s in the moderate risk category but due to an admin hurdle at the GP she was still not categorised so couldn’t go and get it done. She probably is by now… I’m double jabbed and managed not to catch it. I did take lots of care at home but I did have to go in and out of her room a lot. Thanks so much for watching. X
