I used to be really interested in cameras some years ago but left that hobbie around 2019, technology has come so far
I was exited to see affordable. Then I googled it and its $1,799.99 as of mid 2024. You gotta be kidding.
Reminds me of the Sony a7c I feel as if cameras are going for smaller bodies on purpose
Full frame, 10bit, Open gate is actually impressive compared to more expensive cameras
I feel like I’m not trusting a lot of new companies except Sony canon or Nikon. I think that one of them with a good lens is basically all you need instead of a bunch of small artisan cameras. It does look quite nice though.
The cripple hammer hit harder than cannon this time
All my hopes burnt to ashes after opening comment section 🙂 you guys saved my time
I picked up a 5dmk3 for $500 the other day :) awesome full frame dslr
Thank you for sharing this nice video, which lens I could use it ? Canon or Nikon ?
Leica L-Mount
@@gwenlop9512 Thanks 🙏
I really wish it has a view finder.
I am waiting for my new Ricoh CX3
3:2 it’s the most used aspect on cinema cameras sensors …
I feel like people saying $1500 is unaffordable when Canons newest video camera goes for $6000+. Ill definitely be buying this camera especially with best buys 12 month 0 interest financing
If you don’t eat a Big Mac everyday for 284 days you will be able to afford this
In Malaysia, it is sold at around RM7,400 - RM7,900 @ around USD1,614. Not really affordable for commoners.
Does it overheat?
Basically a Cripple Cam 😂
1,500 affordable? LOL
In the world of full frame, this (unfortunately) is considered affordable 😅
@@TomCalton darn it! I guess I’m stuck w my lumix gx85 for now 😅
$1500 for a full frame is a steal dude
@@willywonka3050 Canon R8, RP, A6700 with a speed booster all beat this lumix. This LUMIX has cool features to keep up with the pack, but not any real hardware to stand out. I’d buy a used one for an actual deal and use it for everyday carry but not for paid gigs
@@reaxxion bruh dont listen to them. a brand new Nikon Z5, Canon RP, Sony A7c/A7iii body are much cheaper.
How do you move from C1 in video to C1 in photo
Can you make a full video for this S9? I’m very interested in.
Already live my friend: czcams.com/video/s_nUHuRoS98/video.html
Waiting for iPhone fan boys to say that they still prefer the iPhone as their primary camera.
I see people saying numbers that get close to 2000 here, but to Brazil... It's R$16k (Help me)
Is it global shutter?
It's more expensive than many full frame canon mirrorless cameras
A hybrid viewfinder would make this camera very popular but without, a forgotten piece of tech in 5 years. Sorry panasonic but you don't understand the game.
You can buy an s5 IIX at the same price bracket and it’ll do the same and better
Canon R8 says hello, or Nikon Z5
The S5 II doesn't cost that much more either. I don't understand the hype from many CZcamsrs about the S9. 15 or 10 minutes shooting limit, no viewfinder and an F8 pancake without autofocus. I don't understand Panasonic. A Gx9 II would have made much more sense. But the photography world is simply clamouring for the so-called full-frame format, which in reality is a 35 mm format.
"Affordable" lmao kick rocks
Frame of reference for Photography CZcamsrs. Anything over $600 is not considered "affordable" by anyone making under $200,000 a year, which is 99% of people.
The S9 is the camera (final straw) that broke the CZcams reviewer’s (camel’s) back!
15 min 4k record limit, 4k60p 1.5x crop and a 26mm f/8 manual focus lens which cannot use nd filters stop the cap - terrible camera
Best for after steble videos
One of the most? Is there a more affordable Full Frame interchangeable lens camera?
Yea lots and lots, canon 5d mk2 is a little old but still great camera. Can be found easily $300 sometimes less
@@Wisconsin.pikachu1 you also forgot the difference that 5d is a old bulky dslr, while s9 is a new compact mirrorless
@@tezkyflex7304 ooo nooo I must have the newest thing to get good photos and pictures 🤣🤣🙃, it's still a full frame sensor is 1/5 of the cost and would give you the huge selection of canon lenses. Also 5dmk2 is weather sealed 👌
@@Wisconsin.pikachu1 when you’re discussing a brand new camera and what else is available, you can’t compare it with used gear that’s a different category.
@@jamescaldwell5 well when the guy making the video says it's one of the most affordable full frame cameras you can get, it's a lie. Maybe the most affordable NEW MODERN mirrorless full frame camera. But he did not say new, modern when he said it is the most affordable. Sure if you for some reason want "need" 6k video and like 25fps photography mode then yea get a new camera. But if you don't feel like you need these modern amenities then the older cameras work fine. Me personally think these high frame rate cameras are just overkill. If you feel like you need to shoot photos at 25fps then just record a video and pause a frame and print it 🤣....again that's my feelings.
2000 is "affordable"
For a full frame camera, it is. If you want to take regular pictures, use an iphone. Full frame cameras are usually +$3k
Just once I'd love if a youtuber showed me something "affordable" that is not the same price as my rent
Elektronisches Wegwerfspielzeug....😂
I hate this shit. CHOOSE your words carefully. I watched this and was like "damn, if it's affordable maybe I'll check it out, I've been looking for a good video camera and this looks great"....I checked the comments and this is mad expensive. There's nothing affordable about it at all, how out of touch with reality and the economy are these people???
Is it more affordable than a Canon RP?
Affordable Camera ❌
Adorable Camera ✅
i thought it was gonna be like 50 before i clicked on the video
Lol people keep crying about one word the guy said. For over 90% of us, this (photography/videography with a camera) is a luxury, not a necessity, so being affordable should be put in context when compared with other recent full frame cameras that offer similar features out there. It will not be affordable when the buyers can’t even consider other options.
Isn't 3:2 more traditional than 16:9, since 35mm full frame is historically 3:2?
Price🥶🥶🥶🥶🌚
My new favorite trend is when out of touch film-tubers show off some affordable camera for the low low price of $1500+….
In 2019 I have bought Sony A7iii for 1450€
Even today a7iii would be a better choice for photos. I am not so sure for video…
You can find this camera for 1661€, it's not that much of a difference
@@jjOnceAgain used a7iii these days is 800-900€, still better (and cheaper) for photos
The a7III is a much better tool, maybe not on paper but when you`re working with it, it`s no comparison.
"Affordable" will vary according to income....or available funds.....
I hate living in Brazil cause there’s a lot of products they don’t sell here, so I search for this model and google show me the Sony ZV, yeah Google almost the same
"MOST AFFORDABLE" GOOD SIRE I BEG YOU TO RESEARCH ON WHAT 'AFFORDABLE' MEANS
Awesome camera btw
Ah yes a €2000 affordable camera
No EVF, no mechanical shutter, 6k Open Gate in 4:2:0 chroma subsampling…
CAD$2000…
Just no.
to be fair s5ii and s5iix also only supports 10bit 4:2:0 on 6k open gate
Affordable my ars!
Also, for the same price, you can go with SONY...
Everyone complaining about the price. You obviously don’t run a photography business. Anything sub $2000 is CHEAP!
I just got the gx85 an now I see this
Wow its so affordable, reminds me when sony a7 was like 900😅
Is Sony a6000 better
