For those who really admire this piece, it was first and final take, no rehearsal no practice at all. Gumby (Drummer) later revealed in a podcast that Rahat was leaving for india and gave Hyatt only 3 hours for recording. Everybody gathered in the studio and just played their part , the rest is history. Rahat was absolutely spontaneous, the whole crew was clueless about what's coming next, the whole time. They absolutely nailed it.

Ali Azmat’s nonchalant rockstar persona, the powerful drums, the kickass guitar solo, and above all Rahet Fateh Ali Khan’s legendary performance and his little eyebrow raise at 6:00 knowing that he has nailed it, everything about this song is raw and perfect. It’s 2024 and this song is still unbeatable.

Close minded ppl will spoil this masterpiece with ignorant comments comparing these 2 greats of Pakistani music industry. These are 2 entirely different schools showing how they can sing in the same country and be equally as respected and poupular. We're Pakistanis, we have a great sense of music and can appreciate everything from rock to classical. Ali is a self made Lahori boy gone legendary si ger of Pak, totally self taught and with a courage and creativity to create the first soft rock band of South-Asia. Rahat is part of a legendary family of Qawwals, born and bred in a 500 year old school of music. He's bound to sing like his voice is coming from heaven down! But however close minded someone is, they can't get away from the fact that THESE ARE BOTH PAKISTANI TALENTS :). And it says a lot that they decided to collaborate. Ali said in his interview that this was the first time he incorporated a purely classical tune. So if they can respect each other and cherish, why can't you?

#SandipDas ..chutye ...NFAIK is the god whom RFAIK tries to emulate. He's much beyond Rahatji. Rahatjis father used to sing with NFAIK in his qawwali group. It's like comparing Gavaskar to Tendulkar. Infact NFAIK was much better than Gavaskar .

Like the lyrics and the way they came up at 1:25 .. ali azmat is a powerful singer with inclusive voice .. since my childhood i have been listening to pakistani music because of their trail of sufism and peace in almost every song..based on lyrics and music style, here are three pakistani bands which i happily approve different from others western *>>* strings - jal - junoon
