For those who really admire this piece, it was first and final take, no rehearsal no practice at all. Gumby (Drummer) later revealed in a podcast that Rahat was leaving for india and gave Hyatt only 3 hours for recording. Everybody gathered in the studio and just played their part , the rest is history. Rahat was absolutely spontaneous, the whole crew was clueless about what's coming next, the whole time. They absolutely nailed it.
Ali Azmat’s nonchalant rockstar persona, the powerful drums, the kickass guitar solo, and above all Rahet Fateh Ali Khan’s legendary performance and his little eyebrow raise at 6:00 knowing that he has nailed it, everything about this song is raw and perfect. It’s 2024 and this song is still unbeatable.
I am Brazilian and even with no idea of what the words say, i feel completely uprised with such Pakistan music genre. Congratulations to Hyatt for these CS productions...they´re very elaborated and professional.A great work and excellent selection of all the musicians.

if anybody can transform rain drops into music , its Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and if anybody can mould the thunder of dark monsoon clouds into vocals, its Ali azmat and if anybody can sync the two in 8 minutes of pure ecstacy, its Rohail Hyatt!! MAJOR RESPECT!!!
Such a beautiful beautiful song! Rahat's raising of his eyebrows at 6:00 mins with a wicked smile after an epic rendition was cute. You get goosebumps at Rahat's entry and again when Ali Azmat re-enters. Will never get tired of hearing this song. A true damn master-class!
I am an Indian and I feel blessed that I got the opportunity to listen to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Abida Parveen and host of other extremely gifted/talented singing sensations...
What the hell is Christian Rock mate? Why do you have to give religious colour to music as well? Can't you just appreciate music as it is? Seriously grow up, we are not living in stone age. Peace out.

We had a get-together this Saturday, and talking about songs from college times. We played this song and i have listened to it 100 times since Saturday.
Close minded ppl will spoil this masterpiece with ignorant comments comparing these 2 greats of Pakistani music industry. These are 2 entirely different schools showing how they can sing in the same country and be equally as respected and poupular. We're Pakistanis, we have a great sense of music and can appreciate everything from rock to classical. Ali is a self made Lahori boy gone legendary si ger of Pak, totally self taught and with a courage and creativity to create the first soft rock band of South-Asia. Rahat is part of a legendary family of Qawwals, born and bred in a 500 year old school of music. He's bound to sing like his voice is coming from heaven down! But however close minded someone is, they can't get away from the fact that THESE ARE BOTH PAKISTANI TALENTS :). And it says a lot that they decided to collaborate. Ali said in his interview that this was the first time he incorporated a purely classical tune. So if they can respect each other and cherish, why can't you?
India and Pakistan have so much in common that no amount of hate can stop people from coming together in appreciate artists from both the countries. Love from India.

Sergio A. Guzmán We are fan of Narcos Senor 👌😊
that guitar solo was epic and sad part is that people dont realise it
Wasn't too shabby!!
Omran is one of Pakistan's premier guitarists. Super tasteful and underrated
its not that epic , just noodling in pentatonic minor, basic blues bends. And lacks phrasing
I'm a guitarist. I understand.
And even the effort of the bassist neither the amazing drums !! Its 😑
