First of all, I dont believe in caste or religion. The present govt. (I don't care what party it is) filed an affidavit in SC stating they do not have any objections to abolishing the triple talaq. This is something Rajiv Gandhi should have done during his time (Shah Bano case). But he chose to appease the bloody mullahs and passed a bill in the parliament, against the SC judgement that went in the favor of Shah Bano.

I am in support of ban on uttering instant tripple talaq, but government should find some solutions for maintenance of wife. Because, at the end, the question is of women's rights and welfare not penalizing Muslim men.

P sP: भाई जान , 3 तलाक़ ban करने का श्रेय मोदीजी को है या S.C को या उन पीड़ित महिलाओं को जो S.C गयी । SC में शपथपत्र के माध्यम से ही पक्ष रखे जाते हैं । AIMPLB , पीड़ित महिलाओं की ओर से शपथपत्र दाखिल किए गए । सरकार की ओर से महान्यायवादी ने शपथपत्र दाखिल किये। लम्बी बहस के बाद SC ने किसी भी पक्ष की दलील पूरी तरह से नहीं माना। फैसला 3:2 से हुआ । मामले की जटिलता इस बात से समझी जा सकती है कि सभी जज एकमत नहीं थे । 45% श्रेय महिलाओं को, 45% S.C को, 10% सरकार को जाता है । S.C ने ban को 6 माह के अन्दर कानूनी रूप देने को कहा । अच्छा होता यदि सरकार सर्वदलीय बैठक में कानून के प्रविधनो पर विचार विमर्श कर ली होती लेकिन मसीहा बनने की चाहत और सत्ता की अकड़ ने विवाद पैदा कर दिया। बिल में कई विरोधाभाषी प्रावधान है , यदि कोई कमी रह जाती है तो कोर्ट कानून को रद्द कर देगा । सेलेक्ट कमेटी में सभी दलों के अनुभवी, विशेषज्ञ होते हैं । दुर्घटना से देर भली । अगले सत्र में पास हो जाएगा । S C का ban तो प्रभावी है ही । फिर मिलेंगे ।
